Fishing DEEP into the Saltwater Creeks with mud minnows for whatever bites! We head out to go saltwater kayak fishing in North Florida for the first time in 382+ days with a mission - catch some fish and enjoy our time out on the water. What kind of fish would be around the saltwater creeks and low country backwaters during this time of year?? I did not expect for this to happen..

If you tie paracord or rope to the handle of your minnow bucket you can drag the bucket next to your kayak so the minnows are getting fresh water. That’s why there are those holes on top of the bucket

Yea just make sure if you’re using a boat with a motor you pull that bucket in. Otherwise you’ll look down and have no minnows or no bucket lol

Congrats on getting back out in the kayak! I definitely agree when you said you just needed more patience - work the cork more on your retrieve and go a little slower. Try to work it slower 2/3rds of the way back to you. Each pop of the cork doesn't have to equal gaining line back; just making that noise is a huge part of using that setup. I hope your foot continues to heal and that you keep catching those creek giants. Thanks for another great video!

You have to come to south Texas. Find yourself a fishing charter to catch n release big trout n redfish. 20+ inch trout n red all day if you can find em. It’ll be a great video. Love the vids!

Since you’re back in action on the yak would love to see you try top water fishing for reds. Throw a popper for them. Biggest ask would be salt water fly fishing but I can only hope that day comes

Nice red, filet it, douse it with a lot of Cajun spice, put it in aluminum foil with butter on the top and bottom wrap it, 350 degrees for 40 minutes 🐟😋

If you can justify spending the bread I’d highly reccomend the hobie pro angler 12 with 360 drive. Turns on a dime and does a full 360 in place prettt much. But you can get a nice little jon boat and pimp it for what they cost so all up to what you want. They’re awesome though
