Another not normal weather day in Wisconsin! Almost 50 degrees in the afternoon. So I loaded the fishing gear up, stopped for some good sushi to go and hit the creek! The fishing started slow, but soon heated up with the sun. This small rare tenkara rod worked perfectly! WHAT IS IT!?

Such a tiny little creek…my favorite variety. 😊 TAO is really underrated. Nice to see those Wisconsin brookies. And sushi for lunch is definitely in the tenkara spirit. Well done Jared!

I believe the UNC is their 8' 6" rod for brooks/creeks. It is 6:4 flex though which for me is better on small creeks, quick short hook sets and quick to control a larger than normal fish before it gets into trouble. I do like the black foam grip better than the cork on the UNC.
