Fishing with LIVE SHRIMP at the Beach! (Catch and Cook)

Eating Whatever I Catch while fishing the beach after a few months for whatever bites! We head out to go saltwater fishing from the surf in North Florida with a mission - eat whatever I catch. What kind of fish would be around a bridge and in the saltwater like this during this time of the year?? We attempt to catch clean and cook whatever we hook into.. I did not expect for this to happen..

Try going to Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in Jacksonville and fish their beach for good Whiting . Most ppl will fish three different rods here … one in the surf , one at the first sandbar and last one out to the 2nd if you can reach it. Also if ur planning on harvesting or targeting sharks make sure to take the FREE FWC permit course online. It’s illegal to target them without it. Takes about 30 min but it’s super easy. Bonnet head and Atlantic sharp nose are great eaters. MAKE SURE TO BLEED AND GUT ASAP or it’s gonna taste bad 💯. As long as you clean em as soon as getting them on the beach ur good to go .

There’s some good fishing under the Matazas bridge in St. Augustine. There’s a good bit of redfish flounder and trout that run through there.

live over here on the west coast of Florida, in PCB, and fishing has been real tough. went Saturday on kayaks and didn't even get a bite... live shrimp, paddle tails, crankbaits, nothing!!!! keep going though!! can't catch nothing sitting on the couch!!! i feel your pain though lol.

Good morning sir from New York that is called like it is a sliding sinker that's what we use that's what we call Fish Finder rig we use that for the striped bass and Bluefish I do a lot of surf fishing that's what I use and I caught with that ring summer flounder which we call fluke Bluefish striped bass black drum we do get black drum in New York

Honestly surf fishing this time of year is not a fruitful mission. You need to hit the piers and go for Sheepshead and Redfish. They like the cooler water especially Sheepshead. This is their spawn in Florida
