Two different style fishermen, Damian offshore and graphing. And Greg shallows and banks! Both have their place, and the waters Damian generally fishes what seem to be reservoirs, deep and clear where Greg mostly Delta, shallow and stained where a graph doesn't help as much! Looks like Greg's winding up to get a Live or forward facing unit soon, that'll be a fun ride!

When I first met Damien, he was catching fish right in front of me and I had only caught 1 dink. I was amazed and just sat there watching a master. Then he said "One of these days, I'll have to get a fishfinder" WOW, even with no electronics, That's natural talent!

I've started watching Damian's videos awhile back and have found that he is incredibly knowledgeable. He knows where to look. Some people discredit him because he has live imaging but I can assure you it doesn't mean you'll just find and catch fish, I'd know lol

I think he's just incredibly knowledgeable and understands the movement of fish very well. I don't really believe there's any sixth sense going on. If anything, claiming he has a sixth sense just takes away from the knowledge and skill he's accumulated. He also had equipment you didn't have. Luck definitely plays a role in everyone's day but I don't think he got lucky in almost every tournament he fished. He's just too humble.

Damian said himself luck plays somewhat a factor, and GB disclaimed that pro fishermen know the fish and have knowledge. Maybe this 6th sense is a subconscious gut feeling based on years of experience that helps track down fish or have that intuition of the switch up and “last cast” scenarios like Damian had.

Exactly! This is key now, FFS is more important now in tournaments and separates those who consistently win from the pack. Its not just the ability to see live but to better understand patterns and behavior, after which you can adjust and learn from. You can tell Damien has this down and is a big part of his ability to win, no luck required... Thanks for this video, you guys need to learn from each other and should fish together regularly! Damien, you would have tons more subs and views if you put out consistent content like Greg!!

Greg your take on having a fifth sense for fishing I believe is 100% true. It’s no different then say a carpenter you can be trained with the best techniques & tools but it’s that special ability that makes them a Craftsmen & that is way different then a carpenter. It’s on another level. I’ve seen it in all walks of life. Growing up my parents had a ability to plant & grow anything with what seemed little effort. I’ve had that ability & remember growing up & catching fish when no one else was. Not so much now😂 but it exists a call it what you will it’s just a feeling a Sense. And he says it’s luck Ha! No way when you watch him fish he puts 100% into every cast every presentation. And more & more you see in the end technique & presentation is what catches fish. Greg, I was waiting for you guys to do another trip out together. Two great kayak anglers, and it's always epic to watch and learn. With fishing, the kayak add-ons, new baits, equipment etc. Greg you talked about replicating. I watch you both. You guys are both fish very different styles. You've won some big tournaments over the years, and if not, still place well. Especially that Big Bass Brawl. Making that top ten, to be on that stage last season. Dang! D out fished the Gregger. I love watching him fish structure. I don't like forward facing sonar but it gives you a different look to see what the fish are doing. I had a great manager when he asked how I am so successful and I told him "I'm just lucky." He responded with what I would say the same thing to Damian - "You create your own luck." Changed my life on how I approached success and realized my hard work and intuition to succeed.
