Thanks Greg. Only had two days like that in my life. Castaic, June 1991, stacked 2-6 pound fish on one point. Had it all to myself. One hour straight of every cast with a split shot would hook one. Lost track at forty something. The incredible part was that most of them were 4-6 pounds. Like you said; I’m dreaming!!!!! Live well had five 6-plus pounders. I have photographs of that day somewhere in storage. Need to get to them. Amazing day brother. Truly awesome. Good for you and superb video. Thanks so very much for sharing. Now, I head into a morning full of meetings with a smile on my mug!!!!!

@F1Hopeful2 жыл бұрын
@@910Volcomsnow ski arm. Everything is so much different now. For one, the water level is 115 feet lower and the lake has been poached to death. Those days were the hay days of Castaic. Don’t see it coming back to its previous glory unless they police the poachers and declare open season on the strippers. I was blessed to have fished back then.

At 11:30 I've heard that purple is the last color that trout see in low light so you see a lot of deep water flies in fly fishing now using some purple. Not sure if that is the same with bass. Looks like you are pre sunrise so maybe they are seeing that color really well. Maybe that helps you at the next tournament for early mornings.
