Thanks for covering the dolly again. I saw the episode with the Wizard and was chatting with Newport vessel s and they were like who ? And what ? Never heard of him or it. We are launching in the mud sand or rock here on lake mead and it’s tough with 100 lbs boats. I have been waist deep in mud trying to get them out. And the side kick set up is basically useless. Bent two legs already wheels sink in the mud or get stuck in the rocks. Then you can’t get the legs out to put them in the up position. I looked at the dolly on Amazon but there isn’t a spec sheet how big are the wheels and is the axel size a common size ( 1 in ). Love the content

It makes pulling a big kayak on level or bumpy ground a breeze, up hill it's about the same. I'd give them a call,(they have a website) and I bet you could give them dimensions of your boat and they'd steer you in the right direction

I really enjoy your videos so much and seriously wish I had the skill to flip under trees. I bank fish and try to cast under trees to the left or right of me and I'm only successful 1 out of 10 times with most of the time getting caught in the tree I"m aiming to cast under. Watching you just cast into a hole under a ton of hanging branches is a marvel to watch. That awesome pitch at 17:09 was a thing of beauty. Gotta check out that bait. Action on that is incredible.

@GregBlanchardFishing2 жыл бұрын
It was slightly harder going up! but someone suggested i spin it around and push it which I think will make it easier than the other 2 methods. I'm going to try a trailer hitch mod on the dolly and see how convenient it is to do that so that could be another option. And no trailering kayaks for me around the bay area traffic so this portable trailer intrigues me not only for the delta but the ramps that are now a football field in length at our lakes with the low water.
