Congrats on the boy and girl! Our first pregnancy was the exact same set of twins. Best advice I could give you so is to keep them on the same feeding and eating schedule.

Need to be fizzing those bass and not letting them float in the live well
@BradTheBuckeye5 Жыл бұрын
This. I was looking at those depths on the graphs and knew that'd almost certainly be an issue. When he opened the box to cull, it was confirmed. Barotrauma is a legit killer. They may swim off, but they'll float back up. Caught a spot deep on Broken Bow one year, and he floated up 30 yards behind the boat 5 mins later. A bald eagle came down and got him some lunch so I didn't feel too bad but learned the lesson.

My thoughts as well. MLF has been adamant about caring for fish and these two are throwing them in the water.
@Hiphopopotomous11 ай бұрын
Yep, keep a few needles soaking in iso alcohol. Dry before using. Helps to reduce the spread of virus as well. It's not even the livewell, it's the improper release.
@FishingwithNordbye11 ай бұрын
It’s actually more likely to kill them from fizzing after all the research they’ve done. They are better off swimming back down and releasing naturally after taken out of livewell. They do fine like this all day as long as you have good oxygen going. I do fizz largemouth. God bless
@Hiphopopotomous11 ай бұрын
@@FishingwithNordbye fizzing does not kill more bass than barotrauma. And you are referring to an assisted depth release tool, which also has a lower mortality rate. Mouth fizzing is more dangerous than not fizzing.

@FishingwithNordbye11 ай бұрын
Sometimes that’s harder on them. Spots do great like this and then swim back down fine to release it naturally. I fizz largies more
