Always happy to see new stuff. Walmart sells a really heavy ultra clear plastic that we use as a table covering. They have it with the bulk fabric. It may be more durable than the shower curtain.

I have been using lure covers for several years, great time savers. I rig all my rods before I leave the garage to save time when I get on the water. Also saves your fingers from getting hooked when you're bouncing in the waves on Lake Erie.
@rileyramsey59002 жыл бұрын
After watching your part about creating a see-through lure cover for the rod, later I remembered that I need a replacement window for my flip over ice house. This same idea would work perfectly to create a window and stick it right on the existing window hole that already has velcro. You would just need to make sure that you use the correct match for velcro for the window portion. Many times, the windows that come on the ice houses are not very bendable, and they can crack in the cold. Thank you for the idea!

Use the duct tape lure covers all the time. Gave my fishing buddies some for Christmas. I don't think I will use the clear. The dock gockers always have their eyes open. Seeing what everyone is using. Duct tape keeps everything hidden. Thanks again and keep them coming.

Mr N Stuff, ya gotta getcha a plier stapler. It looks like a plier but it's a stapler. It can reach in about 3 1/2 " and pop a heavy duty staple in heavy duty stuff. I have been using one for 45 years to "sew" rips in my work clothes, mend holes in my pockets, hem up my drawers when I can't find my size AND for makin' sure that sticky back velcro don't come unglued when it gets hot in the sun. Just sayin'! You can get stainless staples for it and you know how good that is for fishin' stuff. Get one and I bet it'll find its way into some future Fishin' Hack videos. That shower curtain lure cover is a great idea BTW.
