Looks great. I have made a bunch of them similar to yours. Mine are oval with a hanger at the top. I shape mine differently and sand differently. I do like the router you did on the edge. Most of mine are on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, and a lot of them go as gifts. The largest I made was a 2 foot x 3 foot out of cedar painted exterior gloss black as it was going to hang on their front porch. I also have a couple videos on them.

My tatty old workshop door has a new look with a very nice window made from the top of an old dressing table found in a skip. Thanks for the inspiration and the demonstration looking forward to exploring your channel further.

A bit of machine wax on your scroll saw table should help with moving the wood ..even put a bit on the back of the wood as well .. Burning the names on with a pyrography machine would make the letters stand out good .
@fishtank5050 Жыл бұрын
It definitely needs something for the next time🤣,I've looked at those pyrography machines ,it's got my interest, some fantastic artist using them,another toy on my list..🤣👍

@@fishtank5050 Ive sent you a link to the 1 I bought ..very easy to use ..Easy to change nibs as well ..ive done loads of stuff with it ..I use graphite paper to transfer images then burn away ..very easy to get into and countless images on the net to do ..burns plywood and pine no bother although the pine you need to do a bit of sanding first before you do image ..I bought one of those cheap scorchmarker pens to try but they were pretty useless so bought Ammonium chloride and made my own solution and that worked pretty good although you need to have stencils made to do it
