Used the 4000 for popping a 65 grams plug caught a 7kg gaint herring on it...clutch is still tight until now...used the 6000 against trevallies and a 10+kg raging cuda and stopped them at full drag...

I have a sea knight rapid II 4000 and 6000, been fishing them hard for 2 years. Mine have held up to Bull reds, Sheepshead, and black drum. They are really good value reels. Mine are loaded up with 30# and 50# braid. You will need to wash and take care of your equipment. Each are on a Berkeley big game rod, medium and a medium heavy. They make great budget rigs. You don't have to spend a fortune just to get good gear to get out and have some fun.

@@fishyaker I am really interested on that spinning reel, it would be great if you can take it apart after a few fishing trips. I live in Costa Rica and we fish a lot on saltwater, I also have a kayak. Do you think that reel it's gonna be a good option for kayak fishing in the ocean?

Awesome review Toast! You know, I bought 6 reels from 2 different manufacturers and 5 exact same rods all of which are made in China this last two weeks and I swear they are actually better quality than the $150 rods and reels I used to buy at Bass Pro Shops and Tackle Warehouse! Both of the reels feel like better reels than the reels that are being sold at the $200 range by American manufacturers! And I haven’t seen a better ultralight rod at any price point than the ones I just bought two weeks ago! I like that rod so much I ended up buying 5 of them after initially only buying just one! The reels cost me about $15.57 each after Aliexpress gave me about 16% discount on the reels for new user discount and some kind of holiday discount. The rod is an H2O Xpress line of fishing products sold exclusively by Academy Sports and Outdoors, an American retail store specializing in sportswear, athletic goods, and fishing and hunting goods. I will list the rod and reels I am talking about if anyone is interested in checking them out him/herself.

Thanks!!!You really can find some awesome deals, if you look. A lot of the name brand manufacturers have their gear made overseas anyway.

Don’t trust these guys, you get what you pay for especially when it comes from China, they look nice and the price is cheap, these type of reviewers rely on freebies to review.

Seaknight actually makes some of the worst chineseum reels, they're right down there with RUNCL. To say that this is a saltwater reel and only $35ish bucks? Nah. I appreciate the showcase though thank you. I don't call it a review because whenever it's affiliated it's always extremely biased. Show us the internals, that will really show the quality. The only real info that was useful was hearing the drag, it sounds very cheap. So it's just more of a showcase. You want and extremely good saltwater reel for the price, Daiwa BG.
