The elitists that hate "core" stuff usually just hate it because they think it's the "true" thing to do in metal...most of them don't even give the music a chance. Either that or they've experienced a deathcore show, hopped in the pit expecting a traditional old school mosh and ended up getting decked in the face from "karate in the pit". I love ALL metal and ALL core...I've been to countless show's of every genre and it's safe to say that the most fun to be at are deathcore and hardcore show's because everyone is rowdy as hell and they truly get into the music...nothing compares to being in a pit when the breakdown hit's...the adrenaline is unlike any other traditional metal show that I've been at...other than MAYBE seeing Slayer, that pit was pretty damn intense.
