Getting fed up with FITBIT and all this stuff that occurs way too often. I do appreciate your good advice but they need to get their act together. I wonder if it works like a charm with apple and it is an android issue?

Hey thanks for your videos I watched all of them and my Fitbit Versa is still not working. So here is the problem the screen is showing the message after the soft reset. But my phone can not pick up the Bluetooth signal. No matter what I do, when I go in the app to setup the watch it never works. I deleted the watch from my computer, from my Bluetooth, I reset the watch a few times, I tuned the Bluetooth off and on on my phone I've restarted my phone a few times. I've really tried everything you would find online and on KZbin. I'm losing hope, it was working perfectly fine for 10 month. I have a Pixel 3 XL.

Okay first thing is to see where the problem is coming from. Try and use another phone to connect with. If both phones won't find the device it is very likely the Bluetooth module has failed or is failing. Try this first and let me know how if goes

Thank you so much guy! I've been struggling with this issue since I got the Android Pie upgrade a couple of weeks ago. I surfed around the web looking for tips to solve it, including the fitbit community and I didn't get any useful or effective solution. Now finally everything seems to be fixed and my Versa is connecting again with my phone. I would like to share the link of your video on a discussion on the fitbit community where I tried to get some help and neither the chat moderator from Fitbit has been able to suggest an effective solution. Got to be honest the huawei phones have really good Bluetooth power saving but this is bad news for any connectivity as they often time out very quickly. As long as you are okay overriding the power management settings you should be fine

Hey, thanks so much for your video. Now I understand why Android updates f**k up my Fitbit connectivity with my moby. I have no idea why Fitbit does not produce a video like this one you have kindly posted. It sorted me out and hopefully the headache of Fitbit's erratic behaviour is going to be a thing of the past for me. Why doesn't Fitbit collude with Google and Apple so that their upgrades don't give Fitbit a bad name? It would certainly be worth Fitbit's while to do so don't you think? Thanks again.

Yeah i think it more the phone company that are tweaking the android system outside of their specifications and it causes unforseen problems. Hopefully when they start using android one it will stop

Android one is the stock version of Android that has individual components to it allowing quicker updates and less or no bloated junk included

it all comes down to the individual manufacturer but with android-1 you stand a better chance of getting everything working as it was intended to buy Google

sometimes the bluetooth module goes bad and won't get past this. You may need to contact fitbit for a replacement

Mine didn't work. My fitbit worked perfectly, but then I just got an iphone 11. It doesn't have a "connected devices" section in settings, but I did delete the fitbit online and on the app and even deleted and reinstalled the app, but the bluetooth is still not finding the fitbit.

bluetooth needs to be on but you can't setup the device from bluetooth it needs to get the app to set that bit up

Ik this sounds dumb but I watched your vid with a iPhone and I made forgot my old device on bluetooth then made a new one and it asked to replace my old inspire and I said yes. Then you do all day sync again and it worked.

sounds like the bluetooth handshake chip is gone, mine did the same. maybe try contacting fitbit support they might swap it out for you
