I'll look forward to your update on this device. I was all set to buy the fitbit flex until I watched your review and decided to look at the review on the nike etc but notice this vid. When you reviewed the "Flex" you mentioned you would probably be going with the Nike. After owning the Flex for about 4 days, I think I'm a bit too active for the Flex. I did a 40 minute Power 90 workout and then another 28 min workout for sculpting (weights) back to back and the flex gave me credit for 9 minutes of being active. That surprised me as I was boxing, kickboxing, jumping jacks, the whole 9 yards??? Actually it was a bit disappointing for 100.00. Did you wind up buying the Force instead of the Nike and still using it? I didn't see a review on your channel for the Nike so I kind of figured perhaps you were fairly content with the Force. Thanks for the helpful feedback on these products.

***** I didn't end up going with the Nike band because I don't believe any of these $100 priced bands do enough for active people. I did get the Force and it was slightly better but also had issues with skin irritation. I was still unhappy with it and before a review could be completed it was lost. I believe the smart watches are going to be the next wave in health bands. I will be getting one and testing it.

***** Thanks:) I'll keep the Flex for now. I had to customize specific workouts and manually put in the calories burned as a ball park. None of them are super accurate to begin with but rather a good way to keep the interest to remain motivated. Another example is if I go play 2 hours of singles tennis. They definitely can't accurately track all the footwork and steps taken. It has to be manually put in too. I'll be watching in case you test another product:) I know they will get better with time. Thanks for the time you spend doing this stuff.

Appreciate the kind words. One thing to know though is that FItBit has a voluntary recall on this due to some people getting rashes.

That's ok, at least when/if it comes to the UK the kinks will be out. I am hoping they scrap the force and build something better.

I have contacted customer service numerous times regarding when the force will be out in the uk and seems like they don't kno much themselves as I always get the response of we don't know and will let u kno asap which is rather frustrating. Having read many sites though it seems like the force mite be scrapped nd they are cumin out with sumit else. I am after a strap that measures distance covered specifically what u reckon is the best branded one to get rather than fit bit?? Thanx for ur help

I think they should scrap the Force and come out with something else. I still think the technology is behind to be as advanced as we want it. I don't know if any band is accurate enough at this point.

I went to the website and the company has a recall on this product. The flex and other fitbit products are still for sale though.

I would get one but I don't like the fact that your phone needs to be on Bluetooth just for it to track. Unless I heard wrong I'm i right dan? Thank you.

No it tracks on the band and lets you know everything on the band. If/when you want to sync it with the FitBit app you use bluetooth or use the dongle with your computer.
