Tghe Concord River does not run though Fitchburg. However, the Nashua River does.

Your description is a bit incorrect, some restaurants are okay but most aren’t family owned. Thus you could go anywhere and find the same place like the 99 restaurant McDonald’s or subway. And trust me there isn’t really much to do especially in the cold winter months. On top of that druggies took over Main Street and unfortunately all you would find here is a town littered with hills, trash, and potholes.
