Having to just repeat the same information for days on end becomes rather tedious and monotonous, even when I know that it is nessesary for everyone to comprehend it. And it's not to say that they are "dumb", it's just that they have a slower cognition, are not paying attention, or that they learn though conversation or questions much better than with a lecture or a textbook. :)

I think it's because people think that being mature and responsible also means you have to be serious. I really love Peter Pan for so many reasons BUT mostly I love it because it brought something very important to light. Adulthood is always regarded as that time when you become poised and you do all the right or correct things and it's when you stop pretending (ex. Christmas movies where the parents believe don't believe in Santa but the kids do). When I grow up I'm going to be imaginative and childlike and nerdy and crazy and youthful and energetic ALL while still being a responsible person. All the adults that I know wish they could be kids again. Everyone is so inn credibly uptight about the social acceptability of the patriarchic paradigm! The world will be a better place when we explore the world with wonder. When we can sell peeps to strangers without them wondering if it's a serial killer selling poison. When we can dance in the streets of Amsterdam and wear objects on our heads in grocery stores without it being viewed as inappropriate. :)

As unbelievable as it may seem, John is more than an author. He's not only those four and 5/6 books that he wrote. 1. You may want to do crunches instead of sit-ups; sit-ups put a lot of stress on your spine. 2. Why do so many people operate under the assumption that nerds are unfit? I am a nerd and a geek, but I'm also a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. My brother is as well, who is impressively nerdy.

Good point, although there is a shockingly good number of us who stay inside and read/play video games/watch youtube etc., there are still a great number of nerds who partake in traditional physical activity, not to mention the enormous amount of nerds involved with larping.
