To follow Christ, one needs faith more than all else. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." I don't say this to underplay sin, nor your message, but to encourage Christians who have unwary hearts over their own faults to rest their minds a little more in the understanding that none are without sin. All tenants of Christ and the Father God are important and should be held sacred, but one must not follow each road perfectly to follow Christ. Yes, a sinner can reach Heaven as easy as the most pious, as long as they have faith in Jesus the Christ and God.

Would you consider yourself to be a good person? How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God’s name in vain (very serious; in Old Testament times, the Jews wouldn’t even say the name of God for fear of blasphemy) - even ‘OMG’? One more: Jesus said whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery in his heart; have you ever looked with lust? Well I’m not judging you - but if you’ve done these things then you’re a liar, thief, blasphemer and adulterer-at-heart; that’s how seriously God takes sin. He is Holy (perfectly good/righteous and separate from sin) which means that H e is perfect in justice - and if He were to judge you by the moral law (we’ve already looked at 4 commandments) would you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or H***? The answer is h*** - the wrath of God upon you for your sin. Is that concerning? But fortunately, God’s will is not that you perish. He wants all men everywhere to be saved. So do you know what He did for us guilty sinners? In self-giving mercy, He sent His Son Jesus Christ. He lived the perfect life that we should have lived - tempted at all points and yet He NEVER sinned. Through His life, being in very nature God, He revealed God to men; but we in our hatred condemned Him to death. On that cross as Jesus suffered, He took on the sin of the world and was judged in our place; receiving God’s wrath. You and I broke God’s law, but Jesus paid the fine. God can justly forgive us. On that cross He died, then He was buried, but 3 days later He was raised from the dead - conquering death and H*** and ushering in The Kingdom of God. He then ascended to the right hand of God the Father (where He came from) now Lord of the living and the dead. God has fixed a date when He will judge the world in righteousness. What you need to do is repent (In humility, acknowledge your sin before God and turn to a relationship with Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross; and God will grant you the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then be baptised. When you place your trust in Jesus - the Lord and Saviour - these things will happen: 1) God will forgive the sins that you have committed; they were paid for by Jesus at the cross. 2) The perfect life that Jesus lived will be credited to you. He will find you holy and blameless on judgement day (and now), as Christ’s righteousness covers you. 3) You receive a place in Christ’s kingdom as an adopted child of God. God becomes your Father. Eternal life isn’t just about living forever, but a personal relationship with God Himself. That life can start now; The Father will reveal Himself to you if you seek Him. 4) God doesn’t just save you from the penalty of your sin (H***). He can save you from the power of sin itself. Whoever practices sin is a slave of sin; but when you repent and believe the gospel [WHICH HAS BEEN DESCRIBED] the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you and sanctify you (working in you to further abandon sin and turn to the will of God). When the end of the age comes, and eternity begins, this work will be brought to completion as you are finally freed from the presence of sin. Jesus offers to take away your sin and to give you His righteousness; you must receive it by faith. Choose this day if you will align with the world, or with Jesus and His kingdom - only His is eternal. @kylas19023 жыл бұрын
@@jacobseyoum3458 TLDR I'm fully agnostic and non-theist, only owing to the fact that I cant think of everything. But pretty much atheist. I grew up with exposure to a full range of xtian denominations. From the polite and accepting to the strict and strange (full on BITE cults). I was also a avid reader lover of science lover of books, good stories, seeker of truth. So I had this kid view that books are good and parents are good and none of them would lie. And God is great cause he is love and the ultimate truth. Grew older and started getting tired of xtian hypocrisy. And stopped going to service once I was an adult. But was still spiritual and believed in a personal God and the bible are stories to guide us in life so ignore the contradictions etc. I respected "good" xtians and Muslims etc. And thought there are just many paths to "God" cause "he" wouldn't fukc over all non believing humans forever just cause they got taught the wrong belief system. And he has to know about all the enslavers and charlatans using his name to do bad...right? Funnily enough while enjoying an edible and listening to KZbin.com/Telltale (highly recommend) talk about how Jehovah Witness and Mormons are full on cults gave me a revelation (heh). I realized while xtianity might not technically be a cult currently the whole thing definitely started that way. Just a very successful cult that propagated and diluted into the culture. Changing for the romans to use and spreading with their empire. Changing for the Muslims and spreading with them. Just evolving with humans and changing just enough so it not obviously weird coming from authority figures. It took a few more days and felt so weird but also I felt all this guilt and stress evaporate. It felt like all the stories I would hear of people hearing the voice of god for the first time. I never heard it. So I used be jealous and pray for god to fully talk to me no signs or vagueness just speak. Except this was the opposite. I realized god will never say anything, cause he aint there. And that's totally fine If the Joel Osteens of the world practiced what they preached I wouldn't have been eager to leave the church. And we had a few amazing pastors but exposure to so many denominations prolly sped up my deconversion. I don't fault anyone for thier belief. Especially if they try an accept others that don't share it and don't impose it on others. But I do hope they will see the light eventually. Its very hard. And I wasn't even that deep. Thanks for letting me rant.

ROMANS 10:9 - If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved

@@exorius Why would you say that, when Christ Himself fasted and advised fasting? I suspect you're referring to Mark 2:22 , Matthew 9:15, and Luke 5:35, but in that situation, Jesus was responding to a Pharisee's challenge that He and His disciples were not fasting according to the traditional fasting rituals, not that Christians should not fast at all. As Jesus shows by the parable He tells immediately afterward, he's actually speaking of the difference between the Mosaic Covenant and the Messianic Covenant. Otherwise, Jesus speaks in terms of "...when you fast" and explicitly advises fasting frequently in order to be prepared to cast out the toughest of demons.

almost 3 years ago, at almost 22 years old i almost took my own life. I was abused as a kid, broken, depressed, anorexic, bulimic, suicidal. I went in & out of psych units like it was a game of Chess. Suicide watch. I was on enough Antidepressants to kill a horse. I hated myself. I wanted out. I wanted the pain to stop. The gaslighting* to end. *(when a psycho makes a sane person question their own sanity, and thus think they themselves are the insane one). I wanted power. I got into witchcraft. I thought it would give me the identity i wanted, to be set apart from people who hurt me. It only made me sicker. Sicker. Thats what it did to me. The doctors said i’dnever get well. That i would suffer severe Chronic Manic depression, and never be well, that id be stuck on antidepressants all of my life. I would plot suicide on a daily basis, binging and purging my food as often as opening and closing a door. The pain was too real. People choked me. Assaulted me. Told me i was ugly, i felt worthless. Nothing ever got better. Then my mother died. The (1) & only soul who ever loved /emotionally supported me was removed from the earth. I was stuck living with people who broke me, ruined my identity, thus causing me to hate God. I thought God hated me, that he was just like the ones who tortured me, a family of abusers, who cover up all their actions with the mask of religion. I didnt know that God is on my side. I didnt know that Jesus would Love and Defend me, and fight for me and that He later would heal me, rescue me from Family. The ones who caused me pain. The ones who choked me for wearing a necklace. I moved out after family threatened to throw all my belongings on the front yard, and have me permanently institutionalized in an insane asylum, when they were the ones who caused my mental illness via abuse. They blamed me for the abuse they did to me. To take my life in an insane asylum when they were the ones who made me suicidal. Next morning i spoke with my dead moms parents who let me live with them. I stayed on the antidepressants, prescribed. But they only made me sicker. I got deeper and deeper into witchcraft, thinking it was a solution. But it made me even more suicidal. Self hatred was inescapable. All my cards have fallen down. I have nothing left. But out. I wanted out. I decided i was going to kill myself. I was going to take all my pills. But then Jesus stepped in. I didnt die. I surrendered my life to Jesus to make me well and heal me. The deity i blamed for me being abused wanted to heal me. He Was fighting for me and Loved me all along. He wanted to love me. He wanted to give me His Heart. HE LOVES ME. JESUS. LOVES. ME . Jesus miraculously healed me - i am off all drugs and dont need them and i dont have any mental illnesses. I have a job and am totally healed , full of joy. I’m now a born again Christian, in my 20’s who wants the entire world to know that JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU HE. LOVES. YOU.

Don't let it consume you and don't let it be your everything. Godly training is better and more rewarding for it follows you till after physical death to life in heaven. The scripture didn't tell us not to exercise. It's saying it's good BUT don't forget that being trained in Godliness is better. Hope you understood. @@joymwendwa6959 So is the case for everything else not only exercise. Balance and moderation is extremely important but I think the Christian community tends to be a bit religious about having passion or zeal towards anything other than scripture.
@joymwendwa69593 жыл бұрын
@@gracechilo345 that's the thing. We SHOULD follow scripture. That's the only way but look, this man in this video looked at the little things like exercise. He IS following scripture. Those that are being religious most times do not have that Holy Spirit (or neglect Him) that God gives to us to discern and learn new things. The Bible itself said reading the Bible just like any other book is dead but reading the Bible with the Holy Spirit speaks life, deliverance etc. So there's no problem in following scripture. But it is what you learn from scripture (or what you thought you did) that influences your actions whether you read it with your own wisdom or through the eyes and with the mind of the Holy Spirit. So yeah Just so you know, there's no such thing as "balance" or "overly spiritual" when it comes to God. You are either all in or you are out. No in-between. This is why God gives us wisdom to do things as He wants us to so we're doing His will but in order cause He IS The God of order. Hope you understood

Something he missed on is the relational aspect of being in Christ, which requires repentance from the sin that Christ died for and faith in Christ and His work on the cross. When God saves a person, they are given a new nature and given then merits of Christ’s righteousness which in turn allows them an intimate and personal relationship with God as a child and friend, whereas before we were as Paul says, “Enemies of God”. Love your channel, man. You have a very warm personality-you are helping a lot of people 💪

We get that but you can’t feed someone medicine unless you open a way for them to the medicine. Introducing repentance immediately will push people away. It’s like feeding a wild cat fish, any sudden movement or action will scare the cat away, you have to open yourself in gentleness and meekness.

@@xuniepyro7399. Being a Christian implys being a follower of Christ, and carrying the Gospel with us wherever we go. We wouldn't expect a preacher/pastor to teach us about fitness, but we as Christians are expected to know the Gospel and spread it. Repentance, is part of the Gospel.
@jovanyperez39673 жыл бұрын
@@xuniepyro7399 Woah buddy, you calling yourself a junior pastor means nothing if you don’t know the scriptures. First of all, the gospel means “good news”. How do you hear the news? Words. It is not by deeds. Your deeds can be evidence of your new spirit that you are a new creation but the Gospel is NOT good deeds. When Jesus raised from the dead what did he tell his disciples to go do at the end in Matthew 28? “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."” Matthew 28:19-20 He did not say go and show the world your good deeds. Secondly, if you come to this video to hear a Christian talk about fitness and you don’t want to hear him preach the Gospel then you should not be a pastor. You’re supposed to WANT to hear him preach the gospel to everyone as much as possible so many more will believe. If all you care about hearing is fitness stuff and don’t appreciate someone sharing the ONLY thing that can save their souls, then you do not know the scriptures nor do you love the word of God. “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?" So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:14-17
@jovanyperez39673 жыл бұрын
@@xuniepyro7399 ALSO, he told the pharisees to repent because they were legalistic teaching salvation through deeds and being hypocrites at the same time. It had nothing to do with sharing the Gospel. The Gospel is what he commands us to share. “"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, saying, 'If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' Thus you witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell? Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.” Matthew 23:23-35
