Your video does not follow the pattern construction instructions. No wonder you had problems with the sizes.

What's your favorite material to use for these masks?

Comfort wise I love knit fabric, but it is more difficult to sew with. If you can manage it knit fabric masks are totally worth it!

I love using this pattern. I want to know how would I use fusible interfacing on this kind of mask.

Hello Amberx! I appreciate your tutorial, it is very clear and easy to follow. It is also very practical when cutting the fabric--not wasteful. Thank you! ❤️

Hi Amber, I really like this face mask and your other tutorials. Also, are you going to be making another one and demonstrating how to properly wear it?
@AmbertheStitchWitch4 жыл бұрын
I hadn’t planned on it. I figure those videos are better done by nurses or doctors. Their mask wearing resumé is longer than mine!

Okay, thank you for responding back. Do you ever feel out of breath when wearing your fitted dart or other masks in humid weather?
@AmbertheStitchWitch4 жыл бұрын
No, this is my favorite design so far. I made a few with knit fabric and they are the most comfortable masks I’ve worn yet.

I’ll be honest, masks are about the only thing I can sew well.

What size do you find is most typical for an adult male and adult female?
@AmbertheStitchWitch4 жыл бұрын
I go with the extra small, 1/4 inch seams with 6 inch elastic for women and the small with 7.5 inch elastic for men. I’ve had to adjust elastic sizes for men since making this video.
@lindseybusch46754 жыл бұрын
@@AmbertheStitchWitch Thank you! I ended up making an x-small for me but I think I need to shorten the elastic. My face is not thin, more on the full side, so I was surprised the x-small slouched down on my face. It should be easy for me to tweak though. Thanks for a great, to the point tutorial 👍

I've made many face masks using this pattern. Many of my customers prefer the medium. I also use the adjustable elastic. ❤️
