So you don't need to re-index the torsion bar by 1 spline? It looks like you just tightened yours.

Not sure about your country but here in America every auto parts store let’s you rent a spring compressor so you don’t have to do all that work to get your spring out.

I’ve got a standard 2.8 lbw manual pajero and would love to know if 33” tyres would fit or would I need a body lift?

33/10.5/15 will fit without any rubbing with the standard setup on the MK2.
