Fitting a Prop - Volvo 3 blade folding prop on S130 Saildrive - Boat Projects

Hi Mat, which folding prop is that? The pieces in the center that you said you must replace, was that a zinc or was it a stopper for the blades? I bought a Used 2 Blade but it just doesn’t seem to stop the blades in the right position

Hi, no, it’s a small washer type thing that you bend the sides over the nut to stop it undoing. I believe the sides break or weaken so it’s advised to replace. The only zincs on these props are the three piece set that sits on the hub. I’m guessing that way the blades get hit first. What make is your 2 blade?
