I love Chris's pink socks! Great little video guys, thank you. Your weather resemble the weather we get in the PNW. 🙂

We’re going to try and sneak some different coloured socks into the next one! 😀 Thanks for your comments on the video. PNW is on our list for the future. ⛵️

I love this video. I was fortunate enough to work for your good lady wife last year and she said you had a channel. Happy Sailing.

Interesting video, thanks! I solo sail so try to use the current when letting out the chain. I also always put out my full 30m of chain when I have the space. Can you think of any negatives doing this apart from having to bring it all back in? lol

Hi - thanks for your comments. We didn’t really show the letting out part but we do the same. We let any wind and tide push us back while we let the chain out. Once happy and the snubbers on we normally know if it’s got us but then we use reverse and slowly pull back until it’s tight and that’s it. If it’s going to be really bad I give it a few more revs and then again slowly throttle back and let everything go slack to where it wants to be. Fair play for anchoring on our own and I would do the same. As long as you have the swing room, more chain the better! ⛓️⛵️
