I am have trouble finding the place to mount the genuine Toyota ecu an bracket I have the same car , do you know where it is to be mounted , Thankyou in advance

Sorry, I haven't needed to do anything with the ECU. There are a couple of HiLux owners groups on Facebook, they would probably be the best place to ask.

I would use nylock nuts or spring washers on something like a towbar which is subjected to vibration.

Either should work okay if torqued correctly. This towbar came with spring washers so I used them.

Hi. I appreciate you sharing. How thick do you think the vertical plates are that bolt to the chassis? And the thickness of the square tubing running across? Thanks mate

Without measuring I would guess the vertical plates to be 6mm and the square tube I would guess at 4mm wall, just going by the weight.
