Its advisable to retorque the wheel bolts after youve covered 30 to 40 miles on alloy wheels as the bolts bed in giving a lower torque reading.

I have got in the habit of doing it before every trip now, as in a later video when I torque them up, some had come loose.

Was waiting for skint knuckles there with that long extension. Would use short or no extension to finally tighten.

I would remove the old number plates because an eagle eyed copper might spot it and just pull you over to check van hadn’t just been stolen. You can get as spray cans of glue/tar remover give that a try.

Spare that is under caravan insurance states 5yrs same as tyres If you place spare in front boot insurance says 7yrs as not getting stone chippings of road

Makes you wonder about the 5 year rule you keep hearing about! Even the service company I use says 7 years. (tyre age)

As it’s not law I think its down to the individual if they are 5 to 6 years personal I will be getting them changed, I couldn’t believe the tyres that came off my caravan was from 2004! lol
