Great video Del. I like pneumatics but since the move away from corded tools I can't cope with hoses either. Using a Hikoki framer these days, it is heavy for sure but consistent, quiet compared to the Paslode, and bump fire is a bonus too. Cheers from Aus!

I totally agree about the weight issue with the battery nailers. Only problem with the gas ones is cold weather, I always had another cannister in my pocket to try and keep it warm. Also did the same thing with mastic in a bucket of hot water when sealing tons of cedar cladding and curtain walling in the middle of winter. Makes me feel pleased to be retired, I'm bored but i'm warm lol.

Hi, enjoy watching your kitchen fitting videos, I've been a carpenter for over 40yrs now and been solely fitting kitchens for the last 12yrs. Got a belfast sink in the next one, never fitted one before and there's an end panel at each side with quartz worktops. Is it best for the cut edge of the end panel to be at the top? Hope you can please advise me, thanks. Phil
@thetallcarpenter

Hi Phil🖐It's never nice having end panels anywhere near water, but I'm pressuming the worktop will be overhanging the Belfast sink, and hopefully siliconed to the underside🤔 As long as this is the case, then your panels should be fine🤞Always great to have a fellow carpenter from the same era🤩Cheers Del

Pneumatic nail guns cannot be beaten for power. I run my finish nailers off of a DeWalt flexvolt cordless compressor. I have also run a Makita coil nailer off it to see could it keep up. It could but I'd recommend at least a 9ah battery, preferably the 12ah though.
