So I managed to get a time of around 4:10 or so and I think this is how I did it: one of my villagers was collecting gold while the other was still building the mining camp. The villager collecting gold finished and was about to drop it off at the town center but right at the exact same time, the other villager finished the mining camp. It was sortof a fluke I think and I'll try to see if I can recreate it. But thanks for the video! Super helpful now that I'm learning Abbasid!

If you start with six vil's on sheep then first 3 on gold, next vil build landmark>go to gold, then keep building vil's until you have enough to age up. Is usually at 2:25 no more than 2:30

I like to rush to 4mins age up too and either get 2 stables or 2 archery ranges first...poke the opponent for a few mins with camel archers or horsemen then get the tcs while they scamble their defences

As a berry civ why not take advantage of it? I like berries in dark age because they are exposed. If you get pressured in feudal you can fall back to your sheep under tc and keep the food flowing.

Personal preference i guess. Even with the berry boost the gathering from sheep is a little bit higher so you can get to age2 faster. The advantage of going berries first is that when its get pressured you already took some food of it and can take the safe sheep under TC

@@opdvlam Berries over sheeps, I'm clicking to feudal in 2:20~2:30 and with extra scout a little more. Wheelbarrow at 3:20~3:30. I try to get lot of sheeps to deny that secure source of food from my oponent and survive to early pushes. At minute 6:10 I'm building my 2nd TC

Was trying a knowledge wing into boot camp MMA>healing castle build but it doesn't pay off, would if you could get that extra 2 armor in castle but nahhh.

Plop, poissondu44 here (if you remember from aoe3 :p ). I am otp abassyde as well. I like this video but in my humble opinion, the berry start is better mostly because you can use your scout more freely at the begining and you save your safest food much longer, your age up timing is the exact same (you can even age up in 4.05 if you want but that's an other story)

You are only eating the 3 beginning sheep will have all of your other collected sheep to safely retreat to if you need it later. You really should be securing your berries...if you are giving them up, you are probably on the way to losing the game when you run out of food.

How did you make your scout just go around the map like that after getting the 3rd sheep?

Click on the scout and then shift right click randomly ( usually best around your town first so you knkw whats around you) on the mini map. This will let him follow those clicks orders without having to keep an eye on him.

I wondered how people got 3rd tc so quick vs me in a mirror (just learning abbasid). I'm used to keeping 4 vils on food with other civs as a habit. Good tip that one!

Well your build is interesting and I will try to use it against other civs, but french? You are not doing it right. I have never lost a single game against french as abbasid (plat/diamond). I'm not joking, never lost. Never. But also... I never won a single game against english, so I hope this stuff helps me somehow against them.
