I’m amazed every time I view you channel how you work on so many projects without a car lift, and weld without a hood! My back is killing me and get flash burns just from watching you work😮😅

I experince the great success of your educational effect, since now…..when I “think through” a welding project ( like my snow blower attachment for my tractor ) ….planning it ahead before I cut any steel, or weld anything….. I first ask myself “Now how would Fitzee do this?” - that is a great tribute to the effect that you have had on the You Tube welding world - Well done Master. 👍👌

Yep, Bedliner in a spray can is pretty much useless. They have to thin it out to keep from clogging the nozzle so it's just basically paint. I like the brush on bedliner. It applies well and has a great texture when it cures. It's about the best looking feature on the junk I drive 😂👍. Oh, and I love the plastic jug head rest! Great video as always Tony.

Hey Fitzee, Wow, you do really nice work, It is so professional and looks factory. and I guess that's the result everyone would hope to get. I am looking forward to your next video on Crusty, this project is one of my favorites I have watched all the videos of Crusty from the start to where she is now, and honestly, I thought she was too far gone and not worth putting all the work & trouble into her to make it look untouched and factory. but as usual, you are the very best Metal Fabricator that I have ever seen we love your channel and the work you do is amazing. From your Friends here in Comas, Lima Peru George and my wife Carmen

Your right about that Tony as a welder the first thing you must learn is to get in a comfortable position before you begin welding. That's important to basic skill to learn bigtime! all fun and games till you got to grind off a hundred spot welds. LOL Great basic fabing skills that anyone can learn and do, taught by a master body man right there. Thoroughly Enjoy watching you keeping things simple. Cheers budd.

The only bed liner/undercoating spray I've ever gotten good results from are the kits with the big nozzle gun and a 1 to 5 gallon bucket of the goop. The spray cans are always an expensive dissapointment. Crusty is not looking so Crusty lately, haha!

Here’s my question, on that curve flange, what are you using to get such a smooth grind on that inside edge? It looks so uniform like you just wiped caulking into it with a finger! I can’t get my grinds that clean looking.

Hi Tony. So many little pieces needed to complete the job. Robby Layton recently did a rebuild of a Toyota that looked a lot like Crusty but was a 4-door. It was/is a burnout car for a famous Australian, who goes by the name "Lynchy". Thought you might find it interesting.

Tony, can you address the problems many vehicles encounter especially ford Bronco where the upper rear fenders rust at the joint of the inner wheelhouse?
@fitzeesfabrications15 күн бұрын
If it's the area I'm thinking it just abuse of water and salt and snow that penetrants the seam.

Good stuff as always, and I'm stealing your pillow idea today for some trailer frame work! 😜 One question...on the wheel lip "spot welds," you drilled holes thru both panels..why not just drill the outer panel and then rosette weld to the inner? It seems like a whole bunch more work, is the weld that much stronger with a thru-hole in your opinion?
@fitzeesfabrications11 күн бұрын
I only drilled threw the quarter lip. The wheel tubs lip was left alone.
