Great episode Uncanny Omar! Love the art in Okko - hopefully I'll be able to get the soft cover collection someday. Here are a few of my Hidden Gems: 1. Iron Wolf - Fires of the Revolution (Chaykin, Mignola, P Craig Russell) 2. Fafhrd & The Gray Mouser (Chaykin, Mignola, P Craig Russell) 3. Drifter (Image Comics - unbelievable!) 4. Nameless (Grant Morrison, Image Comics - also unbelievable!) 5. Trillium (Jeff Lemire) 6. Black Monday Murders (Hickman, Image Comics) 7. Victories (Michael Avon Oeming, Dark Horse) 8. Weird World (original 1970s series with the airbrush art, Marvel Comics) 9. The Olympians (George O'Conner) 10. Moorcock's Elric: Stormbringer by P Craig Russell 11. Moorcock's Corum: Mike Baron & Mignola 12. Starstruck (M. Kaluta) 13. Zero (Ales Kot, Image Comics) 14. Prophet (Brandon Graham, Image Comics) 15. Redlands (Image Comics, most horrifying comic I've ever read)

Omar, first of all..¡¡GREAT VIDEO!! Lots of memories from 'Legion of Night'. Loved your selecting 'Wrinkles', one of the best graphic novels to ever see the light from my fellow countryman Paco Roca. If you enjoyed it, I strongly suggest you try to get 'La Casa', one of the few comics in my 30 years of collecting that has moved me to the point of making me cry. And, speaking of things that you should take a look from the Old World: 'Lupus' and 'Blue Pills' (literal translation from the Spanish title, I don't know how has it been renamed there) from Frederik Peeters are a MUST (in fact, almost everything from him is a MUST). In relation to 'Okko', you should try to find 'Kogaratsu', to me, the BEST graphic novel about japanese culture to ever be produced in the French-Belgium comic theatre, period. Alex Alice is one of those names that instantly pops to mind when thinking about the best Europe can offer: check out his take on 'Siegfried' (yeah, that Siegfried, the one from the Nibelung saga) or 'Castle in the Stars' (again, literal translation from Spanish) a GORGEOUS book painted in a way that it seems an Hayao Miyazaki movie. I could continue, but let's leave at that. LOVE your channel. LOVE your spark. KEEP GOING LIKE THAT!!!!

Once again Omar delivers !! I added Legion of Night to my list coincidentally you mentioned Steve Gerber who is one of my favorite writers Man Thing is close to my psyche and frame of mind these days , Gerber lead a tragic life with many painful moments. Wrinkles looks incredible but it is too close to home and I am frightened by Alsheimers and it’s implications if my loved ones suffered from it and I had to witness thier demise I would go completely insane . FAVOR- please consider the portfolio of Chris Ware and his works he lurks in the Wrinkles territory and is artist and writer at the same time you can laugh and cry all in one page :-)

LEGION OF THE NIGHT is actually part of the Marvel Universe. It's just that there aren't any "important" characters in it. Katherine Reynolds - as you mentioned - appeared before alongside Daimon Hellstrom. Jennifer Kale has been around since the 70s and is connected to the Man-Thing. She was invented by Steve Gerber. In more recent years they've established a connection to the Ghost Rider(s). They even dug up the gur orignially awakening Fin Fang Foom, Chan Liochow. Martin Gold is a guy from their Vampire Stories in the 70s. See, you made me do research. Now I've gotta find those two books. Never heard of them before. Sounds interesting.
