I have only ever done a 72 hour, and it was very difficult. Good on all the guys that can go further. That is some serious mental strength.

the time commitment of running is really something. since getting into it, I have enjoyed following some of the pros on IG and such, a lot of national level competitors spend 12-15 hours/week JUST RUNNING, not even accounting for getting ready, showering, fueling etc.

@@atlaspowershruggedWhat protocol do you do when you break the long fasts?
@Wchen214 ай бұрын
@@atlaspowershrugged Yes, gotta take it slow because refeeding too fast can be dangerous. I actually work in a psych hospital treating eating disorder patients so I'm very mindful about fasting. Good luck to you sir.

Do you have any gastric problems when fasting ? Because whenever I try to fast, i start by phases to constantly burp (for periods of 1-2 hours, usually at times after I should have eaten) and its not really enjoyable to the point to disrputing my workouts. When I did my 5 day fast years ago, I got it pretty much everyday except the first. I can also get the problems while not fasting but if I roughly stick to my hours and eat good, I don't get it. Also simply eating solve the issue 99% of the time Also, I saw in a video of the "What I've learn" channel that you can eat for 350-500 calories and not break a fast (he took a miso soup) and recommanded to take eletrolytes during the fast

I think I'll take Sticky Ricky's advice and down rawn garlic cloves, onion shakes and a gallon of milk a day. Fasting will make me a pencilneck.
