Holy crap...i am fighting tears. This hits home. I have had so many people call me crazy and leave me when i needed the help the most. When i felt like i couldnt fix myself no matter how hard i tried to. The darkness swallowed me and i felt so alone and helpless. Five finger death punch you are amazing. You have saved me many times and once again you drop this song at the perfect time.

Many artists saved me multiple times. It's why I keep headphones on nonstop and play music non stop because I feel like it's the only thing that truly understands me and hits parts of me that I didn't even know was there. People call me Crazy all the time but at this point I'm just used to people saying not nice things to me, I think it might be why I have self hate like I do.

Another sun sets down behind me, another day comes crashing in There's a whispering wind that's blowing, there's a storm that's closing in I can hear the trains they're rolling to a place I've never been And I can feel her breath beside me with an empty glass of gin As the darkness settles in, I can hear her voice again I can hear your voice again Waiting for someone to save me but everyone just runs away Waiting for someone to change me but no one ever comes I'm breaking down the walls that cage me but nothing ever falls in place Waiting for the end to take me, blinded by the sun All the ghosts that live inside me always waiting in the wind I can see through my reflection, what I've become and what I've been You see, your Heaven doesn't want me and your Hell won't let me in It's like I'm holding all the aces but I know I'll never win Waiting for someone to save me but everyone just runs away Waiting for someone to change me but no one ever comes I'm breaking down the walls that cage me but nothing ever falls in place Waiting for the end to take me, blinded by the sun You can take it away, tear it all down Spit in my face, pushed to the ground Look what I've become! I've fallen from grace, bloodied and bound Taking up space, lost and I'm found! Look what I've become! [Instrumental Break] I can hear the snakes they're winding Singing songs of pain and sin There's an anger overflowing From this empty glass of gin As the darkness settles in And this darkness settles in Waiting for someone to save me but everyone just runs away Waiting for someone to change me but no one ever comes I'm breaking down the walls that cage me but nothing ever falls in place Waiting for the end to take me, blinded by the sun (You can take it away!) I'm not really a fan of FFDP as their style doesn't really appeal to me, but I made a deal with my friend that I'd listen to f8 if he listened to the Three Days Grace album One X, and f8 was actually pretty good. Also, HOLY SHIT, THIS SONG IS FUCKING BRILLIANCE. If they did fall off at a point like I've heard, I think they're back.

They need more songs like this one. I don't think they'd be made fun of the way they are if the lyrics were always this solid. This song is pure art.

If they did songs like this, “remember everything” “gone away” “I refuse” etc. I think their fan base would grown much much bigger

@@Jay410S gone away hit so hard. one of their best songs in my opinion. this song is so damn powerful, it just evokes this raw primal emotion from me. this is exactly the reason i listen to music, always hoping to find something like this.

Yet another FFDP that hits me hard(which is a hard thing to do when I feel Numb 100 percent of the time). Thank you for giving me songs to sing when I can't bottle shit up anymore.
