Everyone always says the same thing. "Oh that's loud" "oh you like screaming" "what in the world is that?" But no one ever really listens, to the stories these songs tell. The stories the big icons like ArIaNa GrAnDe and BiLlIeIlish will never really tell. That's where metal/rock music is, they tell the truth. The real stories.

Do not leave that sadness which is DEEP TRAUMA untreated, THE GREATEST "SECRET" AS TO WHY SUICIDE OCCURS?...HOLDING EVERYTHING INSIDE, "THE MASK OF STRENGTH FOR SOCIETY" I'm a war veteran 20 plus I knew one way or another gone, staying back 2 years working shoulder to shoulder wasn't the luck they said it was...The 10 plus down due to suicide, the 3rd ID suffered so many casualties, that we were spared an extra year... I DIDN'T BELIEVE IN MEDITATION... THE PAIN AND WHATEVER SEEN AS A FORMER ELITE TEAM MEMBER, LITERALLY DROVE ME INSANE... DR JOE DISPENZA'S "REWIRED" series explaining our brain, trauma, etc mechanisms, changed my life...Drs mean well, but the VA, Nor the health support system for policemen and first responders is truly effective nor has the crucial answers. TO ALL OF YOU JUST SAYING WE DON'T PROTECT, WE SERVE AS SHEEP... YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND TO FIGHT EVIL, UNFORTUNATELY, YOU MUST RESPOND ACCORDINGLY...FINDING A BALANCE IN IT, HAS BEEN ANCIENT TEACHINGS...WORKS AND THEN AGAIN SOMEBODY JUST CRITIZING AND DOING NOTHING DECIDES TO THROW OFF THE BALANCE AGAIN... AND DON'T LOOK AT US, AND JUDGE US FROM YOUR IGNORANT PERSPECTIVE THAT IS HOW ENTIRE CIVILIZATIONS HAVE GONE DOWN... THAT IS WHY NIKOLA TESLA SAID : "Peace can only come as a natural consequence of universal enlightenment and merging of races, and we are still far from this blissful realization because few nations and races as yet do not understand and appreciate the blessings of peace, the natural result of enlightenment."

It might not be for years, it might be the next time you are given a crap assignment, it might be when the job really messes with your health. In any case, this song hit me kinda hard, too, for the same reasons and thoughts. I love a band that supports LEO and the US. We need more like these guys. The only officer's that face real day to day danger are one's in big cities like Detroit, Chicago, Oakland, Atlanta places like this. Other then that theres no real day to day danger in small citys for the most part. But if you can't handle some of these things that happen with civilians and shoot to kill them because " I feard for my life". You are the problem because yes you may have to shoot them if they're being radical and not complying but to put another 5 to 6 shoots into someone thats obviously not moving after you you put 2 into him an he's not moving is disgusting.
@spydergs07
@spydergs07 6 жыл бұрын
Dabbed Out You are very very misinformed. You think the only officers that are in danger day to day are in big cities... You obviously have never walked in the shoes of an officer. I live in a small "city" suburban area and criminals go from big cities everyday to smaller areas to do crimes because they know the smaller departments don't have as many officers. Try being an officer in a city with over 60k people and less then 12 officers at any given time on the clock. Do a ride along before you talk about something you don't know about. Until you walk a mile in the boots of any officer you have no idea what it takes to be an officer. Don't speak about things negatively until you have lived it.

Well 1st off it's like any other job you signed up for if you're going to complain about you're job maybe its time for you to find another one. But don't sit here and act like they've got to go fight crime everyday like their in some type of life or death situation because their not how often do you here of a cop getting killed. Thats why cops are not even on the top 10 list of most dangerous jobs. And also I'm from the city that no one likes to visit but I love Detroit so don't tell me I know. I also know that criminals go out of these cities to commit other crimes but it's not has bad has they say it is because most people are good caring people that get F'd by the police I'm a law abiding citizen and I still get profiled. I've been pulled over because " I looked like I could be up to no good" on my sportbike. But actually I'm just going to work so don't give me that bullshit like their here to protect me when they fear me.

I think everyone in this world should see/listen to, not just this wonderful song, but the many other powerful songs that 5FDP have that hit the nail on the head. See that's the problem with the media. They only show the bad. The C/o's at my facility, for the most part, aren't excessive with force. Our facility is the most dangerous one in our state. Ya know what the media DOESN'T show? The c/o's that get hurt defending themselves or other staff. Or the inmates attack an officer with a shank, etc. Our field is more dangerous than being a LEO on the street. I've even had a city officer tell me he commends us for doing it bc he doesn't even have the balls to do it. Eamma talk down correctional officers? Let's see YOU strap on a uniform and be the "1%" you claim is the only good.

A few weeks ago, I was exiting a club in Miami (it was closing time) and the cops were outside overseeing the proceedings. A group of young people, black and white, passed an officer sitting on the hood of his car and one of them, (i don't know who) started yelling "Don't shoot! He's unarmed! Don't shoot!" and the group started laughing... Now as a black guy from Jamaica where cops are shot just as quickly as civilians, and seeing the gentleman there just doing his job, I found was really distasteful and disrespectful. So my sister and I walked over to him and introduced ourselves, asked him how was his evening, told him where we were from and had quite a pleasant conversation which lasted about five minutes till our Uber arrived. So while I know many people in America have witnessed unwarranted shootings by cops, please remember that those occurrences are so minor in comparison to the number of times that these men and women (fathers, mothers, sons & daughters that they are) put their bodies and lives on the line for us civilians (many for the last time) without even a thought of thanks because "it's their job". My take is, if you treat them with respect, comply with their requests and just relax if you know you are innocent then you should not end up on the wrong side of a cop's gun. (And just to put it all into perspective) My sister and I were stopped by TSA in the Miami airport upon our arrival and were escorted around by four armed officers who searched our luggage. I believe, however, that because we were respectful, honest and relaxed, complying with their requests, that we avoided things reaching an unpleasant level and instead, ended with the officers being quite friendly, even telling us jokes before we left.) I say all of that to say this: Appreciate your men and women in uniform because when you find yourself in a car accident or in a burning house or God forbid, in the midst of a mass shooting or terrorist attack, they are the ones, even though they may be total strangers from a different race, who often times give up their lives so that you can live. Also, thank you FFDP for standing up for the uniform (not the politics) even when it's unpopular or "uncool".

I am a community volunteer in this training program with the Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Division we do different operations out of the station to help the officers out and I hope to become police/sheriff or working in correctional facilities or really any law enforcement agency somewhere when I become eligible. Seeing that LAPD crown Vic, and the LAPD related uniforms hits home for the officers I work with on a weekly basis. Glad to see Five Finger Death Punch respects the blue. It just *seems* to be the opposite because the scumbags who *do* hate LEO's (and the U.S as a whole) are the ones that control the bulk of the news media in this country... most of the current lot of "news- reporters" insist on utterly *shitting* on the First Amendment by presenting opinion, skewed stats, hearsay, gossip, rumors, and biased articles as absolute fact.

There's a light in you That tears me down to nothing There's an angel in your eyes There's a hope inside That you can make it better You see right through my disguise When it rains, it pours And everybody stumbles I won't let them bring you down I won't let you down When the seasons change I won't go down I'll fight through the pain I'll be there right by your side I'll never let them bring you down When the seasons change There's a hope in me That I will die for something Was there fire in my eyes? All this pain inside Will it be this way forever? I can run, but I can't hide When it rains, it pours And everybody stumbles I won't let them bring you down I won't let you down When the seasons change I won't go down I'll fight through the pain I'll be there right by your side I'll never let them bring you down When the seasons change When the seasons change And we're in for colder weather Look for me on the divide I won't let you down When the seasons change I won't go down I'll fight through the pain I'll be there right by your side I'll never let them bring you down I won't let you down When the seasons change

Glad I just found this song, I love this band but just saw this. Starting police academy in a few weeks. I genuinely care about people and have a heart for justice and trying to reach and reason with some people down in the dumps cause I was there, at rock bottom many times. God willing, I’m looking forward to serving and protecting with my brothers and sisters in Blue. In my opinion the only people who hate cops are on the wrong side of the law and hate taking responsibility for their nonsense. Their are some bad apples every where but I’m not going to be one of them. Im aware I’ll be hated for no reason but I’m a protector at heart and hope to make a difference in many lives. I’ll be jamming out to this for my time in academy and beyond.

EOW 2/9/18. thank you to all the brave men and women behind the badge who keep us safe every single day. This song always hits me right in the gut everytime I see his face and those of the many other officers. Gone but never forgotten. True heroes. 💙🖤💙

I love you fine men for honoring all my brothers and sisters who have died and/or sacrificed for us all. Vets, and all law enforcement/first responders. And for all of you that got blessed to not get hurt in the line of duty, you still put your life on the line and were willing to. You know who you are, quit the guilt and forget about it your not the only one that feels the pain of not trading places with someone. No legitimist sole will ever look down on you, yeah the thank you for your service shit sucks to here when you have lost friends that deserve that but we are all family take it in their name. I love all you fellow vets, law enforcement, Fire, ems, and volunteer first responders. To all our fallen warriors Semper Fi, and all other mottos from the rest of my giant family. Love you all !

Y’all I came for awesome music and now I’m bawling. Hands down ffdp has the best music videos and song dedications I’ve seen. Both my grandads were vets. One was an Air Force mechanic, he’s still alive and kicking, and the other was in the marines. He passed a few years ago. I still miss you Grandpa Lyons.

We lost an officer Feb 2019 and after we laid him to rest. I got in my squad and on the radio this is the song that came on. I couldn't stop the tears from coming down, because all day I was trying to hold it together for my partners and fellow brother and sisters in blue. At the end of the video, it also shows two officers we lost in 2018. Thank you FFDP for supporting our men and woman in law enforcement and military!! You guys ROCK

Take your negativity somewhere else. Calling you shit would be insulting the fecal matter people produce. You aren’t wanted here. You go serve on the battlefield first.
