My father was in the 2nd world war he was in the royal navy. He went on many RUSSHIAN convoys when they arrived in Russia they always received a very warm welcome he always said if it weren't for there gallant effort we would all be speaking German now so I say go bless Russia and the Russian people thank you from Terry and hazel in the UK

I have a question for you, arent you afraid of unexploded material? also, in my zone from Romania, i know from my grandpa, places where there were fights between germans and russians, which were never explored, they just put dirt on the fox holes, and there are germans and russian burried, would be interesting if someone will dig for them

I ve remember storys from my grandfather he was with the 5ths Gebirgsdivision near Leningrad i think it was the Ladoga Lake. Maybe some forgotten camerads of him.
