My girlfriend was visiting me from Pennsylvania last couple weeks. I watch you each morning - even if she is here - and she knew that. After 2 days of watching you, she asked me to show her how to collage and she started making pages while I was working. She took papers home with her and she is still collaging at home! She found it lowers her blood pressure and she also finds you very calming in manner. I always smile when you say, "Hi everyone, its Gayle" that is the beginning of imagination! I just wanted to thank you for inadvertently lowering her blood pressure! I know it worked for me also! Take care of you and your "cute hubby"!

Hi again, Gayle! I'm always amazed at how you can mass produce a bunch of journals. You make it look so easy. And they turn out sooo pretty! 😍 I love it! My hubby came in my craft room the other day and he looks down and picks up the needle nose pliers out of my bin. "That's where they went!" he exclaims, giving me an evil eye. 😈 I sheepishly replied, with a big innocent smile -😁- that I often needed to use them. He then said he had something else I could use, not really understanding why I find the pliers so valuable. He goes to his workshop and brings me a small clamp scissors. He didn't know I had just used the cutter on the pliers to crack up the edge of a big, clear ruler to make a deckled edge one (works well, too). Sheepishly, again, I thanked him, but said I really needed the needle-nose, 😁. He sighs and resigningly says, "Well, I guess I'll just have to get a new one." Like that really hurts him to have to do. Not! I told him I could use the clamp, too. My hubby just went 🙄 and left the room. 😆 Glad Mr. A is doing better. Glad you never got it, too! The orange monarch butterfly has been officially added to the endangered species list, having journals with them in it is a reminder of how precious the butterfly 🦋 is. I love how each one of the five Summer journals tells its own wonderful story. Loved spending more time with you today. This past week of videos has been so enjoyable.

I am so happy to see you use lots of the dyed papers from my etsy shop and the yellow flower trim in your journal series. Using the flower trim on the spine was a great idea! Thank you for showing! Some of the Cori pockets that you did had paper that wasn’t directional so they can be left or right just spin it around 180°. I think I’m gonna try one of those with a half a sheet of paper rather than folding it and doubling it, that’s a lot of pockets to fill. Print it on both sides and then cut it in half horizontally, it should work, I’m gonna go try it. OK I tried it it works great with just a half sheet. I just experimented with regular weight copy paper but if I make more I’m gonna use some little bit heavier maybe 32 pound.

Oh my, I can't pick a favorite of these journals. I love them all! Can't wait to see all the additions you put in them. We are in the middle of our county fair, with triple digit temps of course! Having a 4-Her means we are at the fair every day for activities. Tonight is the pie and decorated cake auction. Nice to be able to take a few minutes with my feet up to watch you. I agree with your comment about working on multiple journals at the same time. It can be quite a time saver and even a brain saver when you can make multiple pieces of ephemera at once. I recently completed 4 Americana journals .

Those kits are huge! Journals for days! Love Cori Damen pockets. Over half of the pockets in my idea journal are from her! I love how bright these are. I don't often do bright journals either, but it's fun to try new things. It keeps the boredom away lol. That dark teal lace was just perfect. I love it when a plan comes together! I recently made a journal and gave it to a friend for her birthday. She asked if it's a journal why won't it hold a years worth of journaling. I wasn't sure how to answer her. Do you get this question? Or does anyone?
