Linux today is only as hard to install and run as you make. I have been using Linux for nigh on twenty years and as my only system for the last five to six years. I gave up on Windows when version 10 was still the new and hyper cool version from Microsoft. To me the last good Windows version was Windows 7 and they consistently get worse from there on.I would never even contemplate using a PC or laptop with Windows on now as Linux does all I need and it is fully mine to use as I like and customise to me heart's content.

Fair enough. Thank you so much for your comment.

I have 2 laptops that were just behind the line to upgrade to Windows 11. Not quite 2 years ago I nuked Windows 10 and installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on both. I've upgraded along the way and now run v22. I love it and see no reason to ever go back to Windows. I found work arounds for every Windows only apps. I like Libreoffice, and I use Google Drive and apps. I'm not a gamer but I do audio, video, and photography. The hardest part was getting through all the myths in the beginning and just making a choice. Now I like community and enjoy the many groups that share their ideas, solutions, and tweaks.

When it comes to gaming it's important to note that some titles aren't playable on Linux anymore due to anti-cheating that have benn added to them like Battle-Eye to GTA Online recently. I've heard also about Battlefield V is not working any longer on Linux too.

Thanks for creating this very nice video to explain Linux facts and especially its "pros and cons" very briefly! I can now share this video with my friends who I'm trying to convince to also start using Linux😊

@@bostechmomay I suggest that in future, you add chapters and/or some brief summary points for the video content?

Another idea that you could consider is creating a series of relatively short and easy to follow videi with common Linux problems and their most effective and simple solutions... I think there is a definite need for something like that... so people do not need to spend many hours searching for solutions online / in forums... these solutions should be usable on many different Linux systems (distros) and/or show general "Linux ways" that will work universally, regardless of which distro someone is using. Also maybe some videos to warn / demonstrate common mistakes that could have serious consequences and how to prevent those...?
