Could help, but if its all decomposed, compacted and started choking the roots, if i couldnt be bothered/ didnt have the time or ability to replace it, i'd probably mix in some different ingredients to create some structure and shape to the soil like your perlites, clay balls, pummice etc then a sprinkle of all your other goodies 👍

degrading soil is why i dont use it. peat moss and sand with vermiculite. best DF draining potted mix. top potting with nutrient rich soil in the spring. thats it.
