traditionally, what we do is use a damp cloth and wipe the bean curd skin to remove the salt. Sprinkling the water doesnt really remove much salt. :) thanks for sharing.. hope your daughter enjoy hers....

actually the egg yolk is not really necessary to help on the sticking...the steaming will already help :)

I made this yesterday. When it is done, my mom complained why is it so salty. I said I didn't put so much salt in it, just equivalent to the quantity of the meat. There was a puzzle in my head. I know she can't consume too much salty food due to high blood pressure. I didn't know that the bean curd skin have salt. So today I'm watching this video and read all those comments below. OMG.. 😅 😅 😅. feeling guilty. It's my first time experience. Thank you so much.

There’s 2 types of beancurd sheet, one salty and another type not salty. U can either ask the seller to identify or put abit in ur mouth to taste it
