Thanks for showing my warpfire babies to the world. I usually use that build against khorne or Chaos Warriors not DW, but I guess I got lucky and crazy that time. The only advantage flamethrowers have compared to gloves, i think is stopping power. They can stop infantry chafs very effectively with their morale shock. Warpfire shots stagger infantry and unlike globes they can shoot in the air. But the fact that globes do AP explosive damage just generally makes them a lot better. I kinda wish basic globes got nerfed and both warpfires and rattling guns got buffed.

I love warpfire throwers. They took a little hit going from WH2 to WH3 but they're still one of my favorites

Lol, funny enough the DE had a complete counter build. 4 Harpies, 2 Dark riders and 3 dark shardes should be very able to shut down 5 warpfires. Just very uncoordinated ambush try went wrong and got them shot out of the sky instantly.

I mean I feel like DE have a lot of potential warpfire counters. AP bows, lots of fast melee… Bringing 5 warpfire throwers against DE takes some stones 😂😂😂

Bleakswords would've been better here. Any infantry was always going to get blasted anyway, so it might as well be as cheap as possible. Send in a good 5 squads to force engagement and THEN intercept with harpies + cavalry. Swoop in with Malekith + Soulsteamer to punish any blobbing once the weapons teams are bogged down.
