You also trimmed branches, cut down trees, repaired window stones on the outside of chateau, re-caulked window panes, cleaned out all the chimneys, replaced the bell chain, planted an herb garden, continue to power wash the chateau, fixed the outside water supply, installed/fixed the electricity to the cottages, feed and rescued how many cats, feed the birds daily, take care of the donkeys and the doggies - the list is LONG. Great work from you both!

Amanda and Lincoln with all the work that you’ve accomplished and just château alone, not even dealing with the grounds the trees have been blowing down or falling down from storms, power outages, taking care of animals, taking care of visiting animals stray feeding, and taking care of their health. You both make me tired and I’m not even there doing anything! Really enjoy seeing what you create in each space and hats off. I really enjoy the eclectic mix of old new modern pieces of furniture that are comfortable for you and your family and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I think if I was to pick one room, I like the Le petite salon. Don’t know if it’s the walls or the wallpaper but everything together it is a very attractive room. I cannot understand why you don't have more subscribers. Your channel is so charming and I enjoy the banter and the renovating/decorating and the animals. I watch another VLOG that has nothing to do with chateau living (it is a horse channel) and the VLOGGER mentioned that she grew her subscribers with lots of 'Shorts'. People love cats and dogs and donkeys. Maybe some creative Shorts on your fur family would bring people to the channel? I am sure that once they come, they will stay. Worth a try. Watching your five year review is very impressive. I own the place in Tuscany for approximately 15 years and never did any sweat equity. The restoration was done by the person we bought it from and subsequently we paid for repainting it when we were selling it. I am always impressed with sweat equity. In my case, I earned extra money in the US and then spent it in Italy.

Your renovation is incredible. You restored the original beauty of the chateau, but also made the rooms functional for everyday life. And...let's not forget what you did with the pets. You adopted additional cats to keep the one you inherited companion, and you let the cats help with the renovations. You adopted a donkey to be a pasture pal for the one you inherited. And...at 6:14 you adopted a dog missing one front leg, giving him a loving a safe home despite his disability. Kudos for all that, too!!

How you find time to garden with all the reno is beyond me. And you actually grow food and flowers that look awesome. And then you sit down to fresh fabulous meals, I am sure, even when you are too tired to prepare it, cook it and fall asleep while eating it. I've been there.
