Tried last year growing my 1st lot of Washingtonia robusta palms here in the UK...I had around 8 growing brilliantly/ gave 5 away to friends.. but then like a idiot I left mine outside in the frost without protection...I've now lost all 3....gutted...time to start again and do it right this time...good work 👍

hi, your videos are interesting. i also like palm trees. I myself live in Estonia. I have been looking for washingtonia palm seeds, but unfortunately they are not for sale anywhere. but the interludes no longer, because they were quickly bought. I really like this palm tree. I hope these seeds will be sold again. washingtonia palm seems to be a fast growing plant. this palm can also be grown in room conditions. we cannot grow it outside in Estonia, because the winters are too cold. but it can be outside for the summer.

Beautiful plants! I'm growing Chamaerops palms from seeds, planted them in mid of July. I had 8 and 7 sprouted, I put them into pots last week. One of the 7 has sprouted very late, all of them have their leaf already but this one is just a tiny root for now (but it's growing, I keep checking) I am also always checking the biggest one for signs of a next leaf, I hope mine turn out as nice als yours

Great video. Lots of patience and regularity devoted to make it. Do you have any experience with the Livistona decora specie? I see some chinesis in your videos, but decora is a bit different as far as I know. There is little info on the internet about it.

When you bring them in for the winter is there a bug problem if so what kind of methods do you use to prevent them from coming out

why did your palm take so long for the leaf to stretch across and make a D shape? my palm seedling is on it’s fourth mature leaf and it already has a full mature frond

One question, do the palms get shocked when you put them inside or in a green house when they are use to outdoors. Because I have to put them inside but I don't know if they will die or not.

I had 5 Mexican Fan Palms and I’m pretty sure they’re all dead from the freezing temps of the winter. Makes me so sad. I wish I had some seeds to grow more.
