Fr. Casey (and let’s just pause there, because it’s in a very large part thanks to you that I can even type that as someone who spent nearly her whole life as a fundamentalist Protestant and would never have wanted to call you Father), happy KZbin anniversary. Last summer, while wrestling with God over a miscarriage, I prayed for the Holy Spirit. I never, ever imagined what would happen next. An unexpected Catholic funeral in which I couldn’t deny that the priest was a Christian. And then your KZbin channel. The first video I saw was that early one of you answering common questions. And I could see it in your eyes that you loved Jesus. Earth shattering. I cringe at your recent video where you respond to “Catholics Aren’t Christians” because I really thought that. But in video after video, you proved me wrong. I binge watched you every morning last fall. I loved your series on the Mass because I didn’t know *anything* about it. I just knew I was dying of hunger, and here was real food. If I were single, I would have already asked to be in RCIA, but I’m married with eight kids, and changing the course of a family is like getting a fully loaded semi turned around. But I wanted to say thank you for evangelizing and catechizing me, for enduring so much to give others life. You are truly living the Gospel.

Love your sharing Andrea!! Thank you for being so real. God bless the rest of your journey as you plant 🌱 the beautiful seed of faith in your children. I know I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for my mother living out her faith in everything she did and everyone she helped. That witness made me rethink which way to turn every time I found a new fork in the journey of life. My father mocked our faith and now I see the brokenness within that I could not see while growing up but her witness was always stronger! Ps. Not saying that that’s your situation, just saying it’s all worth it 😉

I will forever be grateful for you and your videos Fr. Casey. It's because of your videos that I converted back to Catholicism and is now seriously considering to join a religious order. You see I was baptized as a Catholic when I was an infant, but only to appease my paternal grandparents. But my parents raised me as an Evangelical Christian and with it came the many teachings that taught me that the Roman Catholic Church has many unbiblical practices, promotes idolatry, etc. Because of your videos I was enlightened to the truths and explanations behind the often misunderstood practices of the Catholic Church, which also lit a fire in me to know more of our Faith. I became hungry for more Catholic teachings. And thanks to KZbin algorithm, because I binged-watched your videos for almost a week, I started seeing video recommendations from channels like Catholic Productions and Word on Fire. Both of these channels, together with your channel Breaking in the Habit, satiates my hunger for more knowledge about our One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. May you keep on doing the Lord's work Fr. Casey. May our good Lord keep you, bless you, and guide you always in your mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through your own unique and adorable way. May I ask for a prayer Fr. Casey? That if the Lord really wills it, may he also keep me as I ready myself to entering a vocation as a brother of a religious order. I also want to ask a prayer that may the Lord also lead my parents and sister back to the Catholic Faith using me or others like you. AD MAJOREM DEI GLORIAM!☝️🙏

What drew me to your channel is how real you are, how concisely you clarify many situations about our faith, yet with such simplicity for many to understand. Some of us want to have more understanding of our catholic doctrines, but most of what is our there like the catechism, episcopal letters and other resources are so complex and 'theological' we find it difficult to grasp in our naive minds. So thanks for making things easy for us to understand, and thanks for not being afraid to talk about controversial topics coz alot of priests would rather stay in their comfort zone and avoid discussing them. We are in this world and it is what it is, yet we need constant guidance, direction and clarity; to be constantly reminded of our worth, our sacredness, of our purpose. Thanks for not being out of touch with this world. You ministered to me a lot, you strengthened my faith. God bless you. Keep doing what you do. I would watch you for an entire day and more!

Secondly, yours video make me more understanding my catholic faith, more loving it, and certainly made me a better person... Your style for delivered the message is suitable and comforting for me, so i just hope you just keep on going Father...dont bother all the negative comment, because what i know is more higher the three, than the wind will blow more rapidly, shaking you hard, but if your root stroong, you will survive😊... Dear Fr. Casey Cole, You are wildly-nilly the very BEST promotion for vocations to the Religious life. Every element and direction you have utilised has & is heaven sent. You are one uniquely blessed person. God makes use of us all but what satisfaction He must feel in your efforts. I will write more. Till then God keep you.

Yes Fr. Casey, I’m back. I’m an 84 year old female, invalid & housebound. I have 4 grandsons, all between 22 -25 years and all except one are doing good/great in the cyber world. They don’t know where else there is !!! I’m going to introduce them 1 x 1 to your work & your world, not exactly as a vocational guidance, but as A direction in the utilisation of their educated, Gifted- by- God, lives. They’ve been over endowed by Jesus. They’ve health, height, good looks, all are graduates, and in comfortable existence. I’ve prayed for blessed outcomes at every step they took. Now, at this crucial age they’re at, they’ve got to think definitively about their future in terms of a vocation. The first step that will shape all forthcoming decisions. Fr. Casey you’ve shown how amazingly, ANY vocation, if umbilically spiritually fastened, can be an inspiration in this materialistic world. I am unable to contribute to further your marvellous efforts, but I’m going to pray for your health & safety. You & your ministry present a glowing image of a clean, intelligent, cerebral, 20-20s America. More acceptable to the world than any other facet, or advancement connection to America, has to offer!!! You are Heaven’s 21st Century Promotion - Officer - Chief. And I’ll be blessed if Rome doesn’t decide soon, that there’ll be a new category of Sainthood now on.

Another excellent video, Fr. Casey. I have been watching your videos for a couple of years, and have definitely noticed the slight shift in tone this year - you seem so much more comfortable with addressing a wider range of topics, and challenging your audience. It’s wonderful to see someone who calls out hypocrisy, speaks for compassion and asks people to really reflect on the source of their actions/beliefs and where they might originate. I’ve seen comments that criticise this (usually falling back on the old, tired ‘don’t be political argument’, which holds no weight, and probably, deep down, comes from their insecurities that their own ‘politics’ jars against the true meaning of the religious faith they profess) but for me, it’s the best thing about your videos - you do not shy away from the difficult topics, but embrace them with intelligence, passion, science and humour. I am not a Catholic and there are some church teachings I just cannot reconcile. However, your videos, and your outlook on life, have certainly shown me a side to this church that I may have previously dismissed. I may not agree with everything the Catholic Church teaches, but I have so much more respect for the fundamentals of your faith, and particularly the work of Friars, and that’s down to the way you present yourself as a spokesperson. Thank you for continuing to offer your insights, and still come across as humble and approachable for outsiders like me.

What a great reflection. I've loved all the videos this year because they've been very real. Most Catholic media avoids these controversial topics or if they do cover them they take up cliche positions. I love seeing you putting focus on these topics.

I discovered your Breaking in the Habit, only in the last few months. I found you as I prayed during this Corvid-19, I have since subscribed and can hardly wait to hear your next video. I love how you speak to each of us and help us gain a deeper, better focused understanding of our faith. I was raised a cradle catholic and was outside the church for 30 + years. I have since returned to church, did my confession, spoke to a priest and began to receive communion. You have really helped me in my return to my roots Thank your, Father.

A Prayer for Priests Gracious God, loving Father, font of every gift and good, make of priests for us we pray: men of faith, men of love, humble servants of your Word, prophets of your Spirit’s grace; men of hope, men of peace, strong defenders of the truth, heralds of your holy gospel; men of prayer, men of praise, guardians of our sacred rites, of the scriptures and tradition; men of changelessness and change, men who follow you each day, when and where your Spirit leads; men of tenderness and strength, comfort for the sick and weary, shepherds leading home the lost; men of counsel, men of wisdom, gentle guides for the confused, lights along the darkened path; men of mercy, patient men, understanding and consoling of the grieving and abused; men of justice and compassion, reconciling and forgiving, men of healing in your name; men of sacrifice and honor, single minded in your service, set apart to do your will; men of holiness and joy, men anointed by your grace, men ordained to serve as Christ. Make us one with them in faith and in Christ your only Son in whose holy name we pray. Amen. O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep your priests within the shelter of your sacred heart, where none may touch them. Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch your sacred body. Keep unsullied their lips, daily purpled with your precious blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of your priesthood. Let your holy love surround them, and shield them from the world’s contagion. Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here on earth, and in heaven, their everlasting crown. Mary, Mother of Priests, pray for priests and vocations to the priesthood. - St. Therese of Lisieux

You know father, the devil's life is made so much easier by us humans that's why despite the marvellous work done by you and your team got that horrible, selfish and unfair comments, here in Malaysia the easiest targets are most often the Catholics and Christian, mostly for the politicians. We are always advise to ignore and discern in our religious life by our archbishop and fellow Christians, by far the most difficult and best advice as this comments do die naturally. I really enjoy the messages in each and every video, this is the second best to Ascension presents. Keep up the good work father. God bless you.

Thank you Casey. Loved the frankness of your video here in Dubai. I am a Christian, lover of Christ. Nowadays I pray for the bride of Christ, the Church to arise. I pray the revelation of the WAY, the TRUTH & the LIFE in Jesus Christ to come alive in each & every Christian. That like our Father God, we would Love the World & ultimately become the salt of the earth & light of the World & thus bring Glory & Honor to the King of Kings & Lord of Lords. I Sincerely desire as a bride of Christ we the many churches are filled with love & honor & appreciation towards each other & our Lord, the creator of Heaven & Earth.
