Don’t be worried the are pretty tough and can handle quite a beating most of the time

It should be fine, the quest is durable enough to bump into something, as long as it's not full on smashed in

i have a such a huge crack that can see electronic through the crack. i fear that the superglue might drip on that inner circuit and destroy the controller completely. how did you prevent the glue from sinking in too deep?

You can instead mix superglue with baby powder. This turns the superglue into a paste that takes longer to dry. However, you may have problems if the headset cannot read the UV LED in the control.

You can just flip the controller upside down so gravity pulls the glue away from the electronics rather than it dripping inside of it

The problem is probably the UV LEDs in the controler. If they are out out of alignment, you may be able to fix it. if they are broken buy a new controler.

The controller is completely broken and a black strip on the inside looks ripped but I cant see the other end is this fixable?

mine is cracked (my mom stepped on it) so basically my issue is the black outer shell is cracked but the inside components are fine. that being said it still doesnt work. its like when you play in the dark and you can still use it but it doesn't move three dimensionally. thinking a sensor broke or something

mine is like the ring on the side is not cracked but popped off and it really ruins my gameplay to were if i strech my arm out or flick my wrist in some games it freezes my arm in place or moves it away any tips on how to fix it???? please

It says in the controller policy (I think that is what it's called) wear and tear isn't refundable/asking for a new contoller

@@Yoinc_ That's not wear and tear, that's a fault of production. Oculus replace all controllers cracked along the seam

I hit mine on a wall and broke it on the side... this peice came off and there is this wire inside... my quest no longer tracks my controller anymore... is there a fix for that? I doubt it

If the wire has detached, you could solder it back together.

If the electronics have broken, buy a new one. It is a complicated job to fix it. This works on cracks.

The title says to fix a cracked controller. It's hard to get hold of spare parts for the controllers. I'm sharing how I did it. If you don't like it, don't do it. Spread joy, not anything else.

It sounds like the electronics in the control have been damaged. Unfortunately, this is not easily solved.
