Thank you so much Dr Tara Tobias, I'm exactly on the same stage. I just tried these exercises, while watching your video. I'm able to do it with the ball. While doing standing and rolling the affected feet, initially my balance was shifting to right, then I focused on keeping my weight on both the legs equally and supernating the affected feet, I felt the exact location of my hip muscle tightness, It's near piriformis. Then I used a pillow instead of rolling board, difficulty level increased by one grade. Within few days, I'll definitely get this. Thank you so much once again. Kindly keep posting. Twice a week will make me get my body control at the highest level Within 2-3 months. Thanks again and lots of love

This is what I love about PT. Treatment options are only limited by your imagination. Thanks for the inspiration! Have a pt with a severe hip issue & tends to remain externally rotated. Will modify & try some of these.

Thank you for sharing from your excellent knowledge regarding recovery from stroke… One of My difficulty in recovery is my left hand / face which is spastic and increases in spasticity in the evening along with some headaches and an increase in Blood pressure ( not always…). Spasticity and numbness in left hand is what bothers most and restricts my daily activities/duties… How and what can be done to improve in terms of movement/ brain rewiring…?

Hi Tara, I am a new subscriber and I feel like you are the first person I have met that speaks my language as it relates to what I feel in my own body. The feedback that I had from my own medical insurer was that I would never get those muscles back so find a permanent solution now to keep myself from serious injury from a fall. I'm 61 years old and have always lived an active lifestyle so this feedback did nothing but inspire me to prove him wrong. Fortunately I found your channel. I am interested in the mini wobble board but couldn't find it on Amazon, Can you tell me where to find them? As well as the disc that you love to use? Thank you! And thank you for your work!

Another great and on time video Dr. Tobias but my question is why when I’m on my Cubii my foot always turns and doesn’t stay on the pedal?
@rehabhqofficial2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle! Not sure what that is, but if there is a way to strap your knee with a bungee cord to the bike, that is what I recommend. Again, not sure what cubii is.
@dancers11132 жыл бұрын
@@rehabhqofficial look up Cubii and you can see it, it’s just a bike that sits on the floor but my foot won’t stay strait it turns outward on the pedals. But I’ll try to strap my foot down somehow
@rehabhqofficial2 жыл бұрын
@@dancers1113 Thanks for the explanation. Please do not strap your foot to the pedal. That could result in serious injury to your ankle.

I never realized my legs did this until I got a full length mirror, that my knee goes to the side, I must have done this when I twisted my knee and never seen this until years later. I will have to do these strengthening exercises. Correct about squat, if you offered me a million $ I couldn't do one big squat. Interesting video thanks, the knee fixed good but left it's mark

Hi dr thank you for your videos. I recently had a mild stroke I am 32. My leg and my foot 🦶 turns onwards not outward. Physio said maybe it is from the hip muscles are not working making it turn in ? They just left it and I walk with a stick as my leg gives way too. Can I do these exercises but the other way or that doesn’t work? Thank you

I have been trying to understand which is the involved leg. Sometimes I see you switch which leg you are identifying as the" injured" leg. I am a new viewer who had a stroke in 2016 but due to business, did not give enough time to myself for healing causing me to still be suffering from lack of use of my left side. Is it too late to ever fully recover?
