Good video, thanks. The guys at Amazon who invented the "AV Sync Tuning" slider obviously had a sense of humour though ... what a total waste of time and effort that was. Doesn't matter where you move the slider to, the ball still pretty much hits the paddle in the same place! Just involves endless trial and error and hoping for an improvement. Re-booting the stick sounds like a plan though.

I have found the slider to work for me on mine it does make a difference when I adjust the slider.

Where is this slider that everyone is talking about? I have a Fire TV that I purchased in 2021 and I'm having the same issues with the audio and video not syncing correctly but I don't have that option on my settings for the AV SYNC OR the AV slider in my Audio settings. Is that option for the newer version of the Fire TV and how can I adjust it?

My audio settings doesn’t have the same options. Thank you, restarting worked, my remote still has some delay. It’s my experience overall commercial abuse has taken over all networks and apps. then offer an exorbitant fee to stop it. Have you got a fix for that?

@@cwtek1 sorted, I had the TV sound out set on Bluetooth but it was connected to the receiver via the HDMI/Arc so switched to that and the remote worked the receiver volume (the firestick is connected to the receiver to... Thanks anyway, great channel 👍

The Surround Sound Option is greyed out for me, it always is stuck on Dolby Digital Plus. Cant Change that.

I can only assume your TV or Surround system supports Dolby Digital Plus which is superior to surround sound and therefore the Fire TV Device goes to that.
