Hey Tech Savage, Nice repair video. I appreciate the time you took to record your work and share with the rest of us. I have one comment on the rebuild however. Comparing wire routing in the original (8:45) with the re-build (24:45 and 25:40) you have re-routed the wires into a bundle when originally they were laid out flat and separated from each other. This can be a problem since the there are high current wires crossing over each other and other signal wires. The left and right sides have relative motion around the center pivot, so the wires will naturally be flexing during use. Over time wires that are crossed can wear through the insulation and short out. Also any curb strikes on the bottom of the board can pinch the wires together and cut the insulation, since crossing the wires lowers the clearance between the cover and underlying components. Laying them out flat like shown at 8:45 is a safer approach.Thanks again for the repair vid. Originally looking for battery capacity (4400mAh) which you nicely supplied when you pulled it.

The centre of my hoverboard is loose like of you grab the centre and wiggle it, it has a lot of give to it, what would you recommend for that?

Hi, My hoverboard is stopping while riding, do you have any clue of the problem? I replaced ALL the electrical circuits, but still have the problem... I just unpluged the battery as someone told me it could solve it... I was also thinking of a battery problem, but I'm not sure that it can solve the problem... The board is working if the load on the wheel is not too high (strength request), if too high, it could leed to a lower voltage of the battery, something like going from 36V to 30V or lower... Maybe you could ask around you if someone had my problem also Nevertheless, thank you for your answer... Kindest regards William

Hey, so my hoverboard broke. The first time i noticed it broke was when I was riding it and it stop and I fell off. Every time I get on it doesn't go. I took it apart and nothing is stuck. And it does not turn off. Do I just need to replace the motherboard and the sensors? I am willing to replace the motherboard and stuff but do you think that is the problem? And how much will it coast? Please help me

my daughter's won't turn off but it don't work. just sounds like a parked car with the car in. U can hear it .. lights on the top are green what coukd it be.. I ordered a motherboard hope it will help.

Please help, it started off when the right side pad stopped working, I fixed that problem but after a few minutes of riding it the entire Segway broke, it won't turn on at all and when I stick the charging plug into it I see slight smoke coming out of the input where the charging plug goes in. Please give me any suggestions I bought the board for $500 and it only lasted me too weeks. I technically wasted $500 but if there's anything you can do please respond asap thank you

i tried to recalibrate my board. The left light stays on constantly and the left wheel will no longer work after i tried. Do you think it is the attitude board? i need help because i am not able to return it and want to fix it.

+Hayden Kind Its a part called the PCB. That is what controls the balancing module in each foot. Open your frame and if the side having issues has a flashing red light on the circuit board, it means this part has gone bad. Thanks

Hay I recently received my board and one of the wheels seems to be rubbing against the frame of the board or is to tight, not sure. But any tips or ideas on how to fix it? Thanks fir the help

The wheel is to close to the plastic frame. Open the unit, remover the 4 bolts holding wheel down as I show in video. Then slide the wheel in the opposite direction to hopefully fix the rubbing issue. Hope this helps. Thanks

May be a bad light. If board operates as designed but has indicator light acting up, may just need to replace the light. Thanks.

+Tech Savage --If the sync light goes red, kould there be a problem with the sensor/s ? It wont kalibrate proper ...both halfs arent.. in-line, for lack of a better phrase.
