Hi Max - Cool utility. One thing I have started doing is rename the COM port to the radio. So I have K4-1 USB Serial Port. K4-2 USB Serial Port, KPA1500 USB Serial Port and it shows up that way in the Device Manager. That is a registry change too so it might be a cool addition to your program.

Hi Tom, good to hear from you. Yes, I agree, I need to get motivated and make a GUI that would let you do that along with the mass enumeration / modem control settings... simple registry changes. N6TV wants a way to backup the names you use so you can restore them. It's a great suggestion. I have been having fun with the K4, know you have had yours for awhile now... they have a few things to work through, that is for sure, but for the most part, I'm pretty happy. I love the filters / audio on CW and other modes for that matter. No ringing on the CW filters even down to 50hz. Thanks again for the comment and suggestion. Max NG7M
