Fix Greyed Out Revisions in Revit

Thanks a bunch for this video! One thing in case anyone else with this problem reads this: If you resolved the problem of the greying out, but ticking the box does NOT show the revision on the schedule, your revision schedule's height might be set to "User Defined". Go to: . In the properties, change the family selected to "Schedule " and click Appearance > Edit. Under Graphics > Height, set this to Variable. Variable is the default setting, but I changed it, cause I couldn't find the problem of the greying out thing. My idea was: I'm the user, and I want to define how long my list is. But somehow this breaks the link with the "revisions on sheet" function. I gotta say that I would expect the revision system to work a bit different. I expected that we put a cloud around what you changed, and when it's issued, you just hide the cloud by setting its visibility (Show) to "none" in the Sheet Issues/Revisions, so when you look back at revisions, you can just unhide the cloud, and immediately see where the change is made. Having to delete the cloud defeats the purpose of using them in my opinion. But it comes down to the same old thing with revit; when you try to think logically about it, you're thinking in the wrong way.
