Some model uses a pressure type of electronic igniter, doesn't have batteries in it. Yours have, that's good :)

As far as your oven goes! You can manually light the oven! Just have a long lighter or the long matches ready and turn the oven oven, strike the match or lighter and put it up to where the policy light is or the gas rails and it will light! The auto igniter probably needs new batteries! Just guessing but you can look up videos on how to do both!

Hi. My gas hob is fotile brand. The battery box just reput. Do you know where to get the spare part?

As long as the contact points still can use, just install a new battery and tape it in place.

I have a question which I hope someone here can help... I thought the igniter's function is simply to provide "a spark", which ignites the gas, and then the whole thing should light up as long as there's enough gas supply. However, apparently that is NOT the case. When the battery is low, the tick rate of the igniter is lower, and DESPITE THE GAS BEING IGNITED and A CONSTANT FLAME IS THERE WHEN I WAS HOLDING DOWN THE KNOB, THIS FLAME WILL DISSIPATE WHEN I RELEASE THE KNOB. This problem is easily fixed when a new battery is in place, which increases the "tick rate" of the igniter. Thus, apparently the igniter's "tick rate" actually matters... not just to ignite the initial flame, but to actually KEEP the flame there! So my question is WHY? Can someone kindly please explain to me? Thanks!

most probably the igniter is gone though. u will need to replace the whole igniter box (there is a circuit inside the igniter box)
