This didn't work for me but I found a method that did work. Follow these instructions and note that the key is to make sure the headphone that isn't working is in the case and showing a constant red light. If it goes green at any point you have to keep repositioning the earbud until it stays red. Also, make sure you leave the case open at all times when charging the earbud. Also, disconnect from Bluetooth before trying. Here's the instructions and I promise you this will work. I tried everything when my right ear bud stopped working and this was the only method that worked: 1. Confirm that the charging case has sufficient power. 2. Put the faulty earbud into the charging case and confirm that the red light of the charging case is on and stays on, instead of turning into a green light after a few seconds. 3. If the red light turns into a green light within a few seconds, reposition the bud. If the red light continues to light up in accordance with the second step, go to the fourth step; if it turns into a green light soon, repeat the third step. 4. When the red light keeps on, wait for about 30 minutes, the charging box will charge the headset to 40% ~ 50% of the power. Don't close the case during this time. You can use Galaxy Wearable to pair.

Omgness, thanks soooooo much for being patient to find this out. This was my second pair in 2 days. The first pair when charged only charged the left bud and not the right bud. So I read ur solution and followed. Second darn pair did the opposite, my left bud no charge and was doin exactly as you stated. Right bud charged fine and out the case. Left bud I kept repositioning until it stayed red, so I did that about 5 times and I used USB for charging case as well. Woolah red light stayed on and I left it alone for about an hour and it had charged to 82%. I had the biggest grin😁 because I was now happy and if any event this happens again, I will follow these steps. To confirm....YES THIS WORKED WITH PATIENCE! The buds reached a fully 💯% charge. Because I was finna take them suckers back for the 3rd time. Thank you.👍🏽

It is because the only things you can do are those he just mentioned. What else were you expecting? LOL. Buds are simple devices, so there is less going on there in terms of trouble shooting.

Just a heads up, when my left bud stopped working, I just kept taking my bud in and out of the charging port until it started charging. Takes a few attempts (10-20 times, possibly more) but it starts charging again. Apparently it happens when a bud goes to 0% battery, then it has issues changing after that. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I've got a problem with my left bud. It does not want to connect, it's been month resting in the case draining my case battery without connecting to my phone. I don't hear the sound when you place it in your ear or when it's connected to my phone/computer. I figured out what is causing it but not how to fix it, if you open an earbud up the casing around the battery is the issue, if you take the battery casing from another earbud and switch them the bud works, but wont connect with your second bud. The tracker is on the battery casing thus why it doesnt work.

I have found a solution to this problem my left ear bud suddenly showing disconnected in Samsung wearable app and i was not able to hear from my left bud from at least 10 days i tried many things including what he says in the video but until this worked for me here is how i got it back to work:- so i reset my ear buds and DID NOT connect back to any device then i put my case (including buds in them) on charging after 15 mins I connected my buds to my phone and my left ear buds was connected with 17% charged. i was so damn happy that it worked cause in this lockdown you can't go to service center so i guess the problem was it somehow was not able to charge but it did when i reset and did'nt connect back immediately i hope it works for you guys!!

For me, nothing he did worked, however I did manage to solve the issue. What I did is I placed my galaxy buds both back in the case and let them charge. One not charging, didn't turn out to be the issue but you probably should just in case. The issue I had was that when I tried to use my buds only the left one connected, in the Galaxy Wearable app the left bud showed as normal with its charge, whilst the right one showed as disconnected with an exclamation mark instead of battery percentage. To solve the issue I unpaired my galaxy buds from my phone using the method he showed in the video. I then opened my case and saw if there was a solid green light showing on the inside (showing they are in pairing mode). I then put them both in my ears and held down on both touchpads at the same time for 5-10 seconds, they eventually made a bloop sound, I then uninstalled the Galaxy Wearable app - went to my headphones in the bluetooth connection menu and connected to them (which automatically reinstalled the Galaxy Wearable software) and for some reason this allowed my headphones to both connect again. MAKE SURE YOU ARE HOLDING DOWN ON BOTH TOUCHPADS AT THE SAME TIME, as holding on just one won't work, also it does take a little while to get them to go into this "outside of the case pairing mode". If this doesn't work you've likely got a different issue, but I hope this helps people who had the same issue as me. In case this hasn't worked a few other issues I've heard of are asynchronous software (one headphone is on a different software update to the other) and as you can't update or backdate just one headphone at a time, you'll likely have to send them back to Samsung. Another issue I've heard of is one headphone not charging properly (he talks about this in the video, but what he doesn't mention is that you might want to try and clean (gently) the metal connectors on the inside of your headphones, you can tell if there both charging by using the inside light when you put them in the case, if it is solid red or green when you place one in, the first one is charging, if the light then blinks once when you place the second in, both are charging. There are obviously then hardware and software faults which can occur a number of ways and can likely be solved by sending the headphones back to Samsung.

I just bought brand new buds plus and right one was not connecting...it appeared to be charging but it was not. I charged the case to 100% and then the working left bud i removed from the case. The light would go green at this point; i took the right one (the one with issues) and kept reseating it in the case until the charging light stayed red. Left it alone when the light stayed solid red. I used the wear app (which still showed right as disconnected) and i disconnected the buds plus entirely. Waited about 10 mins; using the wear app...i reconnected and this time it showed the right side as 1%. Letting it charge to a good amount before confirming but for now aleast i can see it in the wear app! Update: mine is working correctly now; the key is to keep reseating the bud until it begins to charge...i believe the issue is that the bud's battery is drained too much where the charge board does not realize that it needs to charge. So seat it in the case and if the light goes red for about three seconds and goes green again. Keep repeating it until it has enough battery to power the charge controller to realize it needs to charge n the light will stay red. Well past the typical few seconds...then do not touch it! Leave it alone for about 10-15mins n reconnect using wear app... You should see it at 1% or 5% Im charging both buds from my case without the same issue. Charging correctly with case n all. Dont let them drain to that point again. Or else youll be doing this again.

@@okaden1015 My left galaxy bud was all quiet compared to my right so that really irritated me. I fixed by doing something simple. Simply remove your rubber earbud and suck into the metal, silver part. You're going to suck out all the gunk in there. It should fix in about 5 minutes by doing it so do it for 5 minutes or so and it'll be good to go. My left and right are evenly balanced so I'm truly happy now! Good luck and let me know

Try cleaning the connectors. I just licked my finger and rubbed some of the dirt off (work in a dusty environment) I plugged my case in and the light went from green to red. This tells me the left bud is out of battery and hasn't been charging. I'll update if it worked in an hour.

My problem was that my left one needed to be charged and the case detected it when i put it in and gives me the orange light for 5 second or less then turns green as if it's fully charged which is false, so i kept wiggling it everytime it turned orange and going to turn green i wiggled it again till it kept orange ans started charging and after 15 minutes or 20 my phone started to detect the other earbud, hope that helps

I used my buds fine earlier, but then my left stopped connecting. All I did was put it in the case, plug it in for a few seconds, and that fixed it. Both at 100% battery. Glad it was an easy fix but wish it didn't happen

I tried this and helped me - Disconnect and delete the bud's profile from Bluetooth - leave the one ( is not working ) in the case and keep the case open - Reconnect your buds with Bluetooth WITHOUT using galaxy wearable app

Unpackaged last night, woke up this morning and used them for 3 hours....sounded amazing. Out of nowhere, left one gave out. Here I am, F-ed like the rest of us. Sending them back for a refund.

Also, any alternative recommendations would be great. My favorite all time headphones the SONY MDR-XB90EX (Japanese Imports) are no longer in production and jumped from $85 to $585 on amazon. Think there are some options on Ebay for cheaper...but open to Wireless, long lasting, noise cancelling. Might give the Sony WF-1000XM3 a look. At least I know they make a quality product.

The thing is, I place it on the open case, but the light only turns on if I forcefully push the earbud it into the case. Already cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and etc.
