That means its not the C partition that you have on your pc try d or e depends on your primary partition where windows is

theresa nicholas yeah cause in Windows main disk the C drive by default on windows 10 doesn’t contain a boot file you will have to find a way to make one i think its possible to do so

I am following the tutorial - it's possible you have a UEFI system, in which case the BCD file is located somewhere else (\EFI\Microsoft\boot\bcd), in the system partition. It's still having some trouble BUT it's the farthest I got with fixing this

For me it says the configuration registery database is corrupt! What ever i try in BCD! It always says that with failed opration or data cannot be opened. Even I can't boot because either it's BCD error or bsod with different error everytime. Even while installing windows. This time I installed windows 11 on different machine and put HHD in problematic so i got it installed some how and bsod at loading widows or running diagnostic and still still BCD registry data is corrupt

Before i t crashed I kept getting a message from Microsoft that there is a problem with they need to fix with my account.. I always ignored it back then unfortunately.. Its an Acer with no DVD drive.. I downloaded media creation tool but when I get to the "install now" page it won't install and the "repair PC" section give error and message that I cannot boot.. I did that one time and saw all the partitons, now I just see one.. I still get an error, "partion too small" I'm going crazy.. I need this laptop for school.
