You've really got to love the fact that Microsoft essentially programs the Disk Management 10.0 to lie about not having sufficient space. It would be one thing to simply admit there were system files positioned to prevent the operation; but no. The text of the error message is specifically crafted and phrased mislead the end user. Thank you. I could not merge two partitions after deleting protected partition with didkpart. With this program I was able to see another hidden16mb partition under the name(others) that didn't even showed up in diskpart partitions list. Deleted it and everything was fine. Thumb up.

There is another problem with this setup I am doing, I am for example choosing another partition and it just auto selects the C partition which only has a couple of gb and when I change the setting partition to a one that has over 170 gb free worth of sotrage it just refuses to acknowladge that and just selects C what do I do?

1) Looks like most people can follow directions based on the response to the video, which is usually heavily skewed towards negative people in the minority 2) I am not sure if you realize this, but there are over 2,400 tutorials on this channel. Over 4 million views a month. For one person who has a life outside of KZbin, I already spend hours of my time every week going through comments. I was just trying to create a partition to dual boot Linux, but HP shipped my computer with the maximum number of partitions on the drive. 1 partition is the main drive, one for recovery, one with hp tools, and for the system. I don't how I"m gonna make it work.

You bought something you didn't have to pay for, not my fault at all so don't turn it around on me. Obviously you did not follow the directions of the tutorial, and even if you did not read any additional features that were likely checked marked what you were agreeing to in EULA, probably accepted the free trial or something, downloaded the wrong thing on their website, etc. If you see every pop-up says "Free" when describing the product in the tutorial. Don't let your ignorance be written off as the tutorial not representing reality.
