Fix Xbox Game Bar options for recording and clipping are greyed out/Disabled On Windows 10/11
Navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore
Set the value of DWORD "GameDVR_Enabled" to 1
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR
Set the value of DWORD "AppCaptureEnabled" to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\GameDVR
Set the value of DWORD "AllowGameDVR" to 1

You might need to create a folder under Windows and name it "GameDVR". Then add the DWORD value 32 bit "AllowAppCapture" in the GameDVR folder. Make sure the value is 1. He mentions it in 3:28 about this destination ^^^

Took me weeks of back and fourth between Microsoft support staff and random article on how to fix this stupid game bar and some random person on KZbin fixed it for me in 1 minute. What the flying fuck Microsoft. Seriously thank you, I have been struggling to take screenshot playing on HDR and there's no other alternative out there that can do it except Nvdia Ansel.
