Had an injury to the right knee from a dirt bike wreck almost two years ago. It was bruised and it formed a bursa on right above my knee cap where my quad muscles go to my knee. Since then it has been numb to the touch in the area that got injured since I went to the dr and was told it’d be good in 6-8 weeks. When I feel the muscle on top and extend my leg I can feel the roughness of the muscle like there was a partial tear or something. It sounded like the adhesions that you were talking about. Is there any way I could work the feeling back into that part of my knee? Good content.

didnt fix anything it relieved the pain.... the fix is actually correcting what you did in the first place to cause it. If you are still doing that, then the pain may come back but you probably made way for a lot of healing.. The problems are never the symptoms we experience. Something causes that muscle to do that and it's up to us we are on our own. I cant even pay a chiropractor to help me understand a thing Ive had to learn like a native in the jungle that lost his tribe... straight up..

Look, I got immediate pain relief after just 5 minutes of doing this butter knife routine. Oh my gosh! I had a knee injury skiing when I was 21, tore my medial ligament. At the time I was told I would have trouble when I was older. I’m 57 now and have been having trouble sitting and getting up from sitting and was dreading what was to come. Tried this, and the relief was instant, I can sit without feeling like I’m favouring the knee and stand up without pain. I’m so glad I found this video. Thank you so much.

Dr. Rowe, I’m a 26 year old woman who has dealt with runner’s knee since I was 20. I tried PT and struggled to pay for it, and to also be better about yoga /massaging with a foam roller (foam roller would cause very strong pain from the stiffness, so it was very hard to motivate myself to be consistent). In the end I have always just had dull stiffness and pain in my knee that I could never full work out for the last 6 years. I thought I’d have to live with it forever. This simple and free massage technique gave me more relief than I’ve ever felt from the other methods. I cried from realizing I had ZERO pain and stiffness in my right knee, and I’d forgotten what that felt like. Thank you so much This massage to me is like a foam roller massage, but much less intense. And you can build up the pressure as you are comfortable. I could barely push down on my muscles without feeling pain at first. But as I took time to dig deeper into the muscles, I was able to go stronger and stronger without feeling too much pain. This has been a lifesaver ❤

After almost 2yrs of not being able to hardly walk and doctors throwing their hands up... I AM WALKING! My roommate had to make me sit down after walking 30mins. That's 29mins more than I've done in 2yrs! At first it was like my legs didn't know how to walk straight and it felt very strange but when I got in the groove I was like see ya! I'm still so emotional and mind blown! Doc you are my hero! If this continues to work then you just gave me my life back! Wow! Just wow!

Pretty bad ass. 2 years post meniscus clean up. Only had like 85% range. Did this while watching it. Did the stretch and heard POP! No pain. I’m at 95% range of motion now 😳

You are my savior!!! I’ve been having knee pain since falling in 2014! Lost lots of weight and ended up having to have a surgery to clean my shredding cartilage. I couldn’t squat without any pain; but after doing this with some lavender oil I could get into a deep squat and had NO PAIN AT ALL! Thank you. It really works!!! I've had a torn meniscus in both knee's. I didn't get surgery... It's been over three years of pain and limited motion. I ran across your video and thought what is there to loose!! For the last 2 weeks, I have been suffering from pain below the knee cap, above the shin bone. I was afraid of the knee collapsing while I was ascending and descending my stairs. After applying the techniques taught in your video, the butter knife around the knee, the towel roll, and the 2 knee exercises, it feels better already even before repeating the techniques on the 2nd day. After 46 years of Karate training, lots of basics, kneeling and general training abuse I thought that was my lot. I am optimistic of a full recovery, I also found a tender spot on the tendon to outside of my left knee cap while rubbing around the knee cap. Thank you again all the way from New Zealand.

I am writing this comment both fascinated at how this works and baffled by how thus works the same time! I tore my meniscus badly two yrs ago and received two injections to manage the pain, surgery was not an option at the time! I workout 3 times a week and I was about to give it up until I started to look for the best reviewed knee brace on youtube & found this! Two days after doing this twice I have virtually no pain! HOLY SHIT! I was too lazy to go get a butter knife rn, it's 2 am, so I just grabbed the nearest ink pen with same length and thickness and a blunt round butt. I did it with the pen on my fucked up left knee which has been that way for almost 7 years and nothing fixed it before. I can deep squat and crouch rn without any pain! Thank you so much doc, I just got this on my recommendations for no reason?! And it fucking worked?? Even with a pen and not even a butter knife?? Guys you can do it with a thick round pen with a round butt, doesn't matter knife or not, just go get sth similar and fucking do it, it works!

I just tried this exercise. My knee has arthritis and pain after pushing my snow blower at 75. I declined a cortisone shot from the orthopedic doctor and look for natural, chiropractic help . Thank you and God bless having this information available.

Well, thank you indeed for this. I could not sleep for the 'winging' pain under my knee. I followed the video and ended by pressing the blunt end of the knife into the hollow under my knee where the pain was. It was excruciating for a while but your video gave me the confidence to persevere. The pain disappeared. God bless you for this!

This video transformed my knee pain. I had a tight band feeling around the back of my knee with little range of motion. After rubbing the butter knife on my leg and knee through my pants, I only have slight soreness. Thank you!!! Amazing 😩 I tried everything exercises, rest, baths and it kept returning. I'd sit and it would get worse again. When it first started my body was compensating for the stiffness and I had really sore thighs. It's funny addressing my thighs was a big part of the solution. 🙏

I had my 2nd meniscus surgery on the same knee 5 months ago. I felt strong but my knee thought otherwise. After running for about an hour, it was super swollen. It’s been 4 days now and the swelling went down but still persists and still super stiff. Although I’m able to walk, I haven’t bent my knee since. by doing these exercises, I felt such a relief! I’m hoping the swelling will go away soon and I’ll be healthy again 🙏🏻

I did this method lastnight. My right knee hurts so much , the pain is around the knee , it affects my every day life. And I want to work out with heavier weights.. it is just constantly stiff and painful. I rubbed it out and it was super painful I bawled and moaned. But when I got up from bed this morning I could walk without any stiffness and much reduced pain! I am stoked. This is amazing! Thank you so much!

Sensational!😎👍 Athletic, weightlifter, distance runner, competitive and been down because my knee locked for the 1st time, pain with fluid retention, back of the knee pain too. Your help is spotOn. I always know touch is the best healing but I didnt know how to help for my knee. I got out of bed, got butter knife, olive oil and within the time your video is finished, my knee feels new, it tickled doing the therapy but I'm sticking to this. Thank you

Wonderful, you know what ? I tried to to stretch my legs, so how children seat over knees on floor, that's wonderful to stretch and some people that though they have artrytes, they can have a painless life, if we can't seat very close to the floor in the first time, then just trying what you can, then everyday you can more and deeper.

I have been suffering from pain in my left knee in years, with pains coming up when I step in a certain angle, constant popping and locking and sudden weakness bending of knee while walking. I even went to both physiotherapist and naprapathy, and I haven't felt the same pain relief as now, thank you once again!

This technique works as he suggests. I also had it work on my knee where I had stitches placed. The stitches are barely visible. MY doctor says it workes on scars no matter how old they are. It may take several sessions but well worth the time, in exchange for the aesthetics.

I had a bad knee pain, during the night it was unbearable, started doing this treatment every day once in the morning again at night before bed. I can tell you my pain has nearly all gone, I sleep without major pain, I still do the treatment twice a day, thanks for this amazing method.

I really do not know what to say! been suffering for 10 years after two keyhole surgeries had about 50% motion NOW after 2 minutes of the butter knife no pain and have about 90% motion UNBELIEVABLE thank you so much forever in your debt..............

So I've been suffering pretty badly from arthritis in my knees; especially my right knee. I've gone through rounds of cortisone injections, with very short lived results. I went through a three week round of gel injections, with such little relief it's hardly worth mentioning. So I watched this video and thought to myself, 'there's no way in hell this ridiculous trick with a butter knife is going to do a damned thing for my jacked up knees.' However, I did it anyway. I sat on my couch, took a little olive oil and the thick rounded hard plastic handle of a paint brush, (my knives don't have smooth rounded edges on the handles) and I proceeded to tenderize all of the muscles above my knee. I really dug in there to where if I'd used any more pressure, it would have been a little painful. After about ten minutes of what seemed like trying to push those muscles down into my knee, I then took the blunt rounded in of the handle, and started poking and massaging it into the little pocket grooves on either side of my knee cap. I would digging in there with enough pressure to push the knee cap pretty far to one side, and then to the other. I did this for about ten minutes, and then I'd had enough. If this was going to do anything at all, it certainly would have done it after twenty minutes of trying to turn my knee muscles and tendons into hamburger, but as I walked to put my tool away, I was disappointed. The same horrible knee paid I've been feeling for months was still there causing me to limp and hobble. HOWEVER, about an hour later I climbed the stairs and tucked my son into bed, then headed back down stairs and sat on the couch. It suddenly occurred to me 'Hey, I don't recall feeling any pain during that little trip up and down the stairs. So I got up, walked around my house a but, climbed and descended the stairs a couple of times, and was so pleasantly surprised to find I'm having almost no pain at all. It took about an hour for the effects of all of that messaging and prodding to kick in, but it actually did work. I'm sure this relief I'm feeling is most likely temporary, and I'll have to repeat this process quite often, but WOW, this is going to be a game changer. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this little trick. If you're suffering from arthritic knees, I highly recommend giving this a try.

@ Ryan Lamp Great comment! Thanks for sharing cortizone shots, epidural shots... Expensive stuff and only temporarily relief, so, if this is only temporarily... At least you don't spend money just some time and if the result is the same, buy something for the house with the saved money, lol. It's good to hear your testimony, because it's really bad to live with pain and your experience gives others hope. Enjoy having no pain man! And play more with your kid(s)!

@@alexsanti4098 I'm actually leaving in less than an hour to head to a clinic to get my first round of PRP injections. It's kind of a Hail Mary attempt at avoiding knee replacements at 53 years old. It's gotten to the point that I can barely walk any more. Every step is a five on the pain level scale. I do get some temporary relief from this exercise, but obviously for me that's even not enough. Here's hoping the PRP injections start to repair some of the damage.

Amazing!!! I’m 11 months out from Total Knee Replacement. I have scar tissue at the top of my knee/bottom of my quad from where the quad was severed and resutured. It sounds like crepitus and has started to hurt and crackle when getting up from a low seated position. I’ve only done 2 sessions and I’ve already experienced relief. Thank you for sharing!!!

I’m truly shocked by how well this works. I’ve been dealing with long Covid pain in my joints and muscles literally all over my body. My knees and hands are the worst. @@johnwilliams2479 I had a massive inflammatory reaction to viral pneumonia from Covid. For whatever reason it inflamed tendons in my hands, elbows, shoulders, knees and ankles. I also have serious muscle weakness. I’m starting to get better but it’s very slow. My lungs are damaged too and yes I was vaccinated.

Wow! Thursday I started feeling tenderness on the medial side below the patella but still went to work on Friday.Friday evening I was in pain and feared the worst. Since trying massage technique, pain is greatly reduced. Thanks.

Your mic on your device picked up you talking about your knee pain..for eg. switch on device & start talking about wanting a new Audi or whatever & I bet you will get adds of Audi cars etc pop up. If you don’t want your tablet/phone picking these up ..you would need to turn of microphone in your settings. Happens to me all the time ..but it’s worth it when videos like this pop up 👍🏻
